Worst blazer ever? He's better than Ha Seung Jin for one.

Has that changed your mind now?

Biggie ... I would be OK with him tonight but he committed like three really horrible fouls and also had the ball taken from him twice from behind by smaller guys because he lost focus.
Yeah that foul on Davis for a 4 point play was tough. The refs got it right too. He did not get pushed hard enough for that to happen.

That Ariza trade started it all. Great pickup Neil

Gotta give Olshey kudos when he deserves it, and the Ariza deal is looking brilliant. Not 100% certain why, because he's not lighting up the stat sheet, but the spacing seems better, he doesn't get exploited on defense, and helps prevent matchup advantages for the opponent. Little things add up, and it's the little things that I'm not convinced Olshey has a good eye for. This time he did.

I'm not sure we've seen this particular iteration of the Blazers during the Dame era, with a genuine big playing like a true 5. I like Nurk, but I don't think I've seen him control the paint the way Whiteside has in the last few weeks. They consistently play like this, somehow avoid the Lakers or Clippers in the first round...they could make some noise. Dallas is headed for a fall and the Griz and OKC can be caught. Anyway, great game. The stars came out tonight, and Dame was the brightest.

I don't give a shit what anyone says that was fucking awesome. The last three games have been fucking awesome and apparently we all need to bow at the savior of Trevor Ariza? What is happening.

Ariza has always been a great glue guy on good teams. Who cares about what he does playing on teams like the Kings. He’s made for the role he’s filling now.

What was the score when Damian got his T, and how many points did he have?
I'd like to know what he said to VanGundy after the following shot..
Thought it looked like " Don't count me out!"....
He's indescribable.

I didn't know Ariza had this much left in the tank. I guess probably best to wait a few weeks to see if he's still got it then. But, yeah, he's been a good fit.

I think what he has going for him is he's an actual 3, not Baze trying to play the 3 while giving up 2-4 inches to everyone else at the position, Ariza's a better on-the-ball defender, and a better spot-up shooter. And, when you're in the lineup with Dame, CJ, Carmelo and Whiteside, you're going to have a lot of open shots, providing we share the ball.

I thought he said "he can't guard me" or something like that (if you're talking the 4 point play where he did the "count it" sign before it even went in)

best part about Ariza is how often he stays attached to the ball handler on screen and rolls. He doesn’t get screened off like the 34562 Blazer SF before him.

I think the biggest thing with Whiteside is you can see other teams having second thoughts about coming down the lane. Teams are having to change there offense because they are not wanting to attack him. So not only is he blocking shots he is forcing harder shots because players know they can't just go to the hoop.

All of you conspiracy theorists in here that thinks the league dictates who wins the games should be feeling like fools. We had 22 fouls called against us and they had 21 fouls called against them. That hardly looks like a rigged game.
