and here's a really relevant question: will Whiteside's performance tonight make it more likely or less likely he's traded

personally, I've never though there was much chance he'd be traded; I don't think Portland got him with the thought of "trade asset"

Yeah i was scratching my head at these comments also. When i watched the game without reading the game thread. Just what i watched. I thought Davis was having a monster game and the only way the Blazers even stay in it is to have Lillard take over. Lucky for the Blazers Lillard did take over. Because they would not have been in the game without it. They didn't get much from CJ. Melo was not playing and thankfully Whiteside got 30 points.
GT jr and Little did pitch in 18 but you got 0 points and 6 fouls from Gabriel, 4 from 1M, 5 from Biggie and 1 from Mario.

Dame is legit the best player in the NBA right now... this is a historic run he is on. It’s exactly what this team needed... plus the development of players like Trent. I was very down on this team but am starting to get excited again. I think we take tomorrow’s game vs Utah as well.

I'm not concerned with our starting lineup when Melo comes back. I'm concerned about our rotation from our bench. It changes from game to game which is a really shitty way to instill confidence in your guys come playoff time. If this could get fixed, I'd feel much better about our long-term prospects this season. Nassir, Trent, Gabriel should be getting minutes no question. Biggie does good things at times as well. Simons... we're all waiting to break out.

No to Mario forever. I don't know why Stotts is obsessed with the shittiest players on his team. Tolliver, Mario, Meyers, etc.
