Could be a sprain.

I've never called him a scrub, but he played great against a 20-win team. Just for perspective.

And against team without a center lol. But I won’t take anything away from him, he played great.

And I don’t think anyone has ever called him a scrub.

Um no, that was no sprain bro.
If it ruptured dude is tough. Most of the ones I remember the guy looked like he wanted to kill himself it looked so painful. I also remember Shaq stubbing his toe and rolling around on the floor. Wonder if I can find it on YouTube.

I didn't think so either, but when it ruptures, it's obvious. So the fact that they need an MRI to see how bad makes me wonder if it was.
I think it's standard protocol. When Shawn Livingston ripped his leg clean off, they "took him to the locker room for xrays". No one's going to speculate on something like that officially without proof.

Usually when they diagnose an Achilles injury this quickly it’s worst case scenario.

There's a belief that high flying high light reel dunking big men are high risk for these injuries....Davis has had a bunch too..it's why Lamarcus never wants to play in the paint as a 5....Duncan never played that way....Nurk doesn't play that way...Marc Gasol doesn't play that way...they'll all have longer careers...280 lb guys dropping at full speed from 14 ft in the air...lotta impact

Give the game ball to Ed - 15 pts @ 85.7% (100% ft), 13 reb, 3 blk
Great work by Nurkic in only 17 minutes - 12 pts @ 60%, 8 reb, 1 ast, 1 stl, 1 blk
Aminu with another great rebounding night - 7 pts @ 40% (50% 3p%), 12 reb, 2 ast, 2 stl
CJ's 11 points in the first quarter kept us in the game - 20 pts @ 64.3%, 4 reb, 5 ast
Dame with no points in the first quarter, did all his scoring in the last three - 29 pts @ 50%, 3 reb, 3 ast, 4 to (considering he had 2 to in the 1st 1/4 only 2 for the rest of the game is good)

Lamarcus never wanted to play 5 because he wanted others doing the work for him so he could put up 20 mid range jumpers a game

He stated multiple times he'd seen so many players end careers and he wanted to pace his career....he didn't want injuries...said Greg Oden was a wake up call...it's why he wanted a rim protector in Portland..banging in the paint IS risky

Sounds like something he would definitely say.

Besides, he's got to save himself for his house of shoes. Haha.

Dude, that guy had heart scare as a rookie. LMA has his issues, but being smart with his health is not something I can put against him.

Theres no way in hell he would be cleared to play basketball if any amount of contact would have jeopardized his career, or life.

Turns out Dame was sick tonight. That's why he came out so flat. Felt like he was going to throw up, he said.
