No more "We suck. No excuses."???
Dude I feel you. I quit talking to my friends and just sat at the bar alone. Now I love everyone.I am going to admit something. I am extremely bi-polar with this team. Last 3 games I was seriously depressed. I'm too emotionally invested in this team! I wish I could just be chill
how have we looked so bad in some of these losses, yet so good in some of these wins. Needs better consistency in the playoffs and look out!
What is Wesley's career high?
Man the guy on ESPN said "they call it clutch city here" I feel insulted...
A nice long winning streak would be greatGood win tonight.
Friday is the big game though.
Need to beat OKC, take the season series vs them and gain two games on them with a win.
That's the game where we need everyone clicking.
The only thing that was good about that comment is rockets fans were probably more pissed than us.Man the guy on ESPN said "they call it clutch city here" I feel insulted...
He used to play like that once every 8 games or so, now it's once every 40. Yes, he will return to his old ways.Still shaking my head at how big Nic was last night. Flying around everywhere on both ends. Getting rebounds and steals, making shots, and not overpassing. Wes had the numbers and some good late defense, but Nic was my MVP from last night.
We are VERY tough to beat if he plays like that consistently... sigh (you just KNOW that he won't be consistent).

He played a great game, I've been giving him a hard time, maybe I should keep dissing him badly so he can make me look bad? whatever works!Still shaking my head at how big Nic was last night. Hope and expectation are not necessarily the same. Have you never expected the worst and simultaneously hoped for the best? You're setting yourself up for disappointment with unrealistic expectations.
Dammit - the quoting function didn't work. That was suppose to be in response to a post saying something along the lines of "We need Nic to do this every night." That's just not realistic, and it's those sorts of standards that I see applied to Nic, but not the rest of our players. And those unrealistic expectations are what cause people so much frustration with Nic.Hope and expectation are not necessarily the same. Yeah, if he could shoot 75% from the floor every night, chip in 6-10 assists, and play strong defense throughout that'd be great! In fact, it'd be so great that he'd win MVP!
Cool quote by Wes."It wasn't just me. The team woke up,'' Matthews said. "We don't have time to blow leads. We don't have that luxury anymore. We needed to take a stance. That's why everybody in here, coaches included, said if we are going to lose, somebody is going to have to beat the hell out of us.''
Nic was quite consistent last season.Yeah, I love Batum when he plays like that....but not sold on his transformation yet. He's so up and down. Has been his entire career. We'll see.
Also his write doesn't hurt? I thought he had a ligament tear?
if the season ended Today I would want the 4 seed which is where we are at. Avoid Memphis and San antonio until the WCF.
ID love to play the rockets first again with HCA and then the winner of GSW/OKC because I bet neither of those teams will win it defensively and could easily get caught off guard by a solid defensive team.
Finally we pray that it's not Memphis in the WCF.
I'll never understand this train of thought. To be the best you have to BEAT the best. I want the TOUGHEST road to the championship. IMO it's the only way...
I hate Batum so much. On the previous forums, I used to bash him endlessly... Especially when a banned member on these forums made threads on the previous forums saying how good she thought Batum was.
I never saw the 33pt game or however many it was vs the wolves... But....... I really think last night was Batum's best game as a pro ever. At least from what I can remember.
Yes he had two turnovers that I shook my head at ... yes on the fastbreak he should have dunked it, instead of tried to ally-ooop to Wesley. But... I really believe Batum played his best game as a NBA pro last night.
