There is always a period that this team (historically) has struggled with. When they finally get over the hitch (whichever quarter it is), they start to play solid ball.

I eagerly await this teams growth where they play solid for the 48 minutes.

I don't think the Blazers are lazy on defense. They have the personnel to be at least average. But they don't have much of an inside presence, and CJ is a bit smaller and less athletic than the average SG. I think the biggest problem is scheme.
