Watching Carmelo tonight makes me wonder why anyone would think that he should have been a FA priority last summer. He's a horrible defender, below average rebounder and his scoring is average at best. All he offers anymore is a washed up name. That would have been a waste of money on a guy who would have only brought us down.

Biggie's movements are so much better than last year. He's still not a quick mover, but he's much more decisive and tempered in his movements, like he worked on the finer points of his game within his limitations.

See this is why I don't get all the Biggie hate. He's only about 7 months older than Zach but just about everyone gave up on him this summer. Rebounding is a skill that you don't need to be athletic to be really good at.

I think Zach and Biggie are proving that summer league is not really a good judge of how good a big man is.

Biggies rebounding is an awesome skill, it's made Ed Davis a career. He does have athleticism issues though, not that, that means he can't be successful, or have a good career, but his ceiling isn't as high as a more athletic guy.
