The same way Houston slowed down Lillard. They doubled and made someone else beat them.

And if they wanna go small I can live with their threes because Nurkic will feast on higher percentage shots on the other end, like he did tonight.

He has, but Dame and CJ got good looks, and just were off. Their guys shot lights out from 3. Ifs, and buts, but if Dame and CJ shoot their regular %, Blazers win easily. They had no answer for Nurk.

Only if you think Mo/Aminu/Nurk can continue to shoot 80%.
It was a great effort tonight. But to expect that sort of production out of those three is unrealistic.
First round? Yeah, I'd be majorly disappointed if we lose. Second round? I'll be moderately shocked if we win against a healthy team.

Dame will hit those in the next matchup with them. They didn't do anything special against Dame. He was off. It happens even to the best.

True they would be out of breath and exhausted from all of the whining and bitching and would lose their voice by the first quarter. It must be exhausting to be such a whiny little bitch like CP3.

On a positive note, we played well and as everyone else has already said it's unfortunate CJ and Dame were both off and looked so timid or else we might have pulled it off.

In a 7 game series I wouldn't expect them to all click at the same time more than once or twice if we're really lucky. But, I'll take Dame playing well over Aminu playing well any day of the week - if that had happened tonight we win this one handily. Unfortunately Dame has a tough time against Cp3.

Dame drives by CP3 as much as anyone else. CP3 had the help of Jordan doubling Dame in LA. Dame's had some very good games against CP3 in one on one situations the last couple of years. Earlier in his career I would have agreed. Houston had other player on Dame.
 
What i'm worried is lillard looks still helpless when we play against Small ball Teams that can Switch Everything, he didn't know what to do after houston switched all the time
 
Feel like we lost the game when Harden went out with 3 minutes left in the 3rd, Portland up 83-76, and Dame turned it over at midcourt leading to a Houston three. Huge change in momentum while Harden was out.
