Tough loss. Lillard not being in arcade mode was bound to catch up to us. Even with he and CJ struggling, we probably beat 90% of the teams in the league last night. Houston is just just a bit better on both ends

I guess if there is a silver lining it's that OKC lost too

Fuck man. You are annoying af. Time for ignore. Goodbye

Labinot i am searching for you..I want to make my promisse to explain you personally some things about Nurk. Recently i am driving in Sttutgart area (Eslingen). Is there any luck that you are somewhere near? Come out of the hidden room. p.s. do not start now to praise Nurk it is too late...

Damn! This is the German version of "Meet me at Mt Tabor". Shits getting real.

You got to admit Harden played a good game. He has had an incredible year. That guy is lights out at times.
I was watching the Rockets pretty close. Paul has really embraced his role with this team. It seems he almost relishes it. They are doing the exact same thing the Blazers are doing with the combo. Essentially Harden is the main threat and Paul is the main threat with the second unit. They screen the defender off and try to get Harden his shot consistently. They spread the floor to extremes. Almost ISO constantly. Dame had no chance guarding Harden in those situations. Happened way too many times. How many times did you see Harden stuck trying to guard Dame in an ISO situation? Didn't happen.....

You can find me hear, it's only 150 km far from Stuttgart. Come over and then we can "talk" Schild-Frankfurt.jpg Schild-Frankfurt.jpg

Only if you think Mo/Aminu/Nurk can continue to shoot 80%.
It was a great effort tonight. But to expect that sort of production out of those three is unrealistic.
First round? Yeah, I'd be majorly disappointed if we lose. Second round? I'll be moderately shocked if we win against a healthy team.

Completely agree. So many, "if Dame/CJ would have hit a couple more shot" type posts....and that's the thing, they will on most nights. But in a game like last nights, they have to have to hit their shots when Mo'/Aminu/Nurk were already a ridiculous 21-26. That is a whopping .807!!! I would be willing to bet that doesn't happen again the rest of the season. So on most nights, Dame/CJ will shoot better but we're just not going to get that kind of game from our front court. Dame and CJ both having terrible nights at the same time is an aberration but what the front court did was that but even more so.

Yeah, Dame and CJ had a bad game.

BUT the Rockets hit 7 of 10 3's in the 4th quarter and barely won. I think any team would lose a close game with the other team shooting that well at the end of a close game.

Not only did they hit those '3's in the 4th quarter, they did it on the road to a team on the longest winning streak in the league. If we get them in the Playoffs, they will have HCA with a raucous crowd behind them and hold onto your hats, even more benefit calls from the refs.

Yeah i agree also. In the past when Dame and CJ go cold against a good team it's a blowout. I like what i am seeing. This team is progressing but they came up against a great team. Harden played an MVP caliber game no question last night. The Blazers are good. They play solid defense and can hold their own against any team. The Moda was rockin. The crowd was there. National TV and all. Houston is poised to go to the Finals this year.

The one thing that i did see was the CP3 curse raising it's ugly head. If he goes down to injury it will be a shame. Just weird the way that guy has had things happen.

Dear God, ban yourself both of you.
I'm sorry and i know it's emberrasing and annoying for everybody here, but this Fake Tough guy has some serious problems when it comes to Nurkic. You know what? I will ignore him in the future, promise!

It's not the exchange with @Almir that's ban-worthy; it's the jorts. Although, maybe those are still a thing over in Germany...

What is 'jorts'? Don't understand that word, can you explaine to me pls?
"jorts" = "jean shorts". Generally considered a don't for men. At least in America. Can't speak to Europe, but it sounds like @Lukee is on your side on this one.

Wtf really? Well i guess we have a different culture when it comes to clothes :) i like Jeans shorts in Springtime

Now that I've had a chance to not sleep on it, I hardly think this team disgraced or humiliated themselves. They played the best team in the NBA to essentially a draw. The game could easily have gone either way. The Rockets made some really tough shots with 1 second on the clock; not a lot you can do about that. Both teams made mistakes and missed free throws; it's called playing against good defense. Yes, CJ & Dame had sub-par games, but had they been shooting the way they normally do, they would not have given the ball to Aminu, Moe & Nurk, all of whom were amazing, for the number of shots they had.

Houston damn well learned to take the Blazers seriously.
And I still hope Chris Paul hurts.

I don't fear this team but have come to hate them. Harden is an asshole. Chris Paul is a smug little prick. Someone should have kneecapped Ariza years ago; I can never forgive him for wrecking Rudy Fernandez' career with his dirty foul. Rudy was never physically the same after scumbag Ariza threw him onto his back.

Every win streak starts after a loss. Time for a new one.

I have hated CP since his days in NO. He's a cheap shot artist and a dirty player. Combining him with another player I hate to watch play in Harden just consolidates my hate to one team.

Having Pringles as coach and Ariza on the roster adds to this consolidation. Really not scared about this team in the playoffs. They look beatable. Moreso than GS who we match up far worse against.

Also, HOU has possibly the worst fanbase in the league. In every aspect. How they don't consistently have a full house is beyond me. They must hate watching that team too. Such a dribble heavy offense.

Houston's defense on Dame last night was outstanding. That was the difference IMO. And Chris Paul was up to his usual shitty tricks. The bullshit call when he pushed Ed and fell down, the push on Aminu at the end, an others. CP is a Master at cheating. I hate that fuck.

Klick on the two pictures and you can see the difference between our Offense and the 5 out offense from houston. Harden had so much more room than Lillard

There's a reason why Aminu and Moe got so hot.
Thats what i'm saying all season. I know Aminu was great last Night but there is a reason Why he shots 40% from 3 and that's because Nobody respects him and he's allways wide open, catch and shot are Not as difficult as Pull up shots and he would Never shot 40% if the Defenders would stay closer to him. Again he was great last Night and he has Value for the Team when he hits his open 3s, but watch out if opponent pay more attention to him in the future
