Yes, Wright is shooting a good % overall, he just seems to do it in streaks. He was hot to start the season, but has cooled off. So what I was saying was, over the last month, he's only provided "good shooting" in 6 games. Shooting is not a weakness of his, it's the rebounding, the defense, the his offense is really limited to shooting. Claver would be no better on offense, but I think he'd be a big upgrade on the defensive end. So if Wright isn't carrying much of the scoring load, why not get a guy that will give you more on the defensive end.
Look I understand your concern, but it seems wright is working with this chemistry experiment well. I would hate to change things up while we are winning.
Yes I know our bench is lame offensively, but we are winning. We are the best team in the NBA now. Why change anything?
