GO BLAZERS!!!

Hey DarkWing I'm back now...... I'll be taking over the thread making again.

 Welcome back, FAMS! You crack me up.

If you want, you can make the next game thread.

I vote the current game thread is a sticky until the game is over.

I would put Lopez on Bass and LMA on Olynyk. I don't want Lopez being drawn away from the basket when Kelly step back to the perimeter.

This feels like "one of those games" And there is a number of "Blazer killers" on that "scrappy" looking squad.

WTF is up with all the "" ?????

This is what I was thinking as well. Also we need to get Lillard some easy shots because Bradley will blanket him often.

We just need to run Dame off pick n rolls the first 20 processions of the game and we will be fine. Thats what we were doing down the stretch in the 4th last night and got easy hoops.

I would love to see that if for no other reason than to force the refs to start giving him a little more respect and get some calls. Just try to dunk every time so there is clearly contact that has to be called. Sounds silly and extreme but if it helps in the long run ...

Well, with the 3 point shooters we have on this roster, we need to make teams pay big time for doubling LA or sagging on a pic n roll. I think we have done a great job at recognizing those situations.......but I really think that is how we will win games this season.

I would think we'd want the pick-setter to be whoever Olynyk is guarding, right? I actually think this would be a good way to start the game - even if it fails the first 5 times. Then run side P/Rs with Nic/Lopez or Nic/Robinson.

/homer warning
If we win this game going to 7-2, I think Neil has to be in the early discussions for Exec of the Year.

Dude if you make a game thread I'm going to request that you get another 8-day "vacation".

Compromise?

If Portland loses tomorrow, HCP gets to make the next one.

Then when Portland loses the next time, it goes back to Darkwebs, etc, etc.

:dunno:

Yo rookie! Just stick with basketball and leave game threads to us veterans!

Mags, your mom.

To be slightly less on topic...

I definitely agree with those mentioning swapping Aldridge and Lopez defensively. I think Batum can do a decent job on Green, but I look for Matthews to have a big game hopefully (20ish points would be great). Lillard should look to wear Bradley out too, but really try to be more of a distributor and get others going, shots will come for him in the process. Although I wouldn't be surprised to see him knock down a few 23-footers because it just comes with so much ease for him. Looking for our bench to step up again in this one too, I think any and all of them could have big nights.
