Practice layups through contact. I know a lot of players do it with assistant coaches holding those giant pads.

The Blazers already use that drill, along with every team in the USA, including HS teams.

You can have people hit you with pads all you want, but having someone grab you is a little different than a big foam pad bumping you.

That's easy. Have someone with a pad bump you on every drive.

He works on that all the time and talked about it pre-season. I think it has as much to do with not getting calls, and perhaps how to draw them, as much as just getting the ball to roll into the hoop. I do agree, he could take that jab step behind the arc and move it in 8 ft, or work on his cross-over to create a bit more space. I think Lillard is doing really well, and I think it's our expectations that probably need as much adjustment.

Who are you, Strenuus? You post as if you have authority on this board. You've been here 3 months. You were on ESPN, right? And BE? What's the deal with you?

We have a lethal offense, but our defense is still a work in progress. The bright side? We're 7-2 and have won five straight, yet there's still plenty of room for improvement. I don't think we've come anywhere close to peaking just yet.

Ummm.... Hmmm.

Where did this come from?

I just simply pointed out his trajectory.

The hierarchical stuff with the newcomers is not going to make them feel welcome, by the way. Just a heads up.

Wow! Looks like the Blazer worked the boards well tonight. Blazers leading their division and
I have no League pass. Damn!

HIGHLIGHTS! Enjoy

Any reason why the YouTube embed code won't work?

No one pays much attention to jlprk. He's like a crazy uncle who shows up for family get togethers.

I just don't see where CJ is going to get minutes.

A few of Lillard's, a few of Wes', a few of Mo's. Plus, there will be minor injuries, sicknesses, personal days, etc and he will be important to our success. Let's see how good he is. He might be better than Mo or Wes.

I don't even remember the last time we won in Boston.

2004
If SAS loses, we will be tied for first place

No, they had one more win than us

Yes, I don't like how Stotts is using Lillard. You should know better than anyone that unpopular opinions are still opinions.

The goal is to win, not make Lillard's stats look better. We are doing what's important. Look, when Lillard was 1 for 15, that's where a Kobe or Mel would just take 15 more shots and keep their averages. Lillard could do that and average 25-30 points but that's bad basketball and it impedes winning. We're playing the right way as a team.

haha alright. I was wondering where it came from. :)

While avoiding my questions about where you came from.

Someone else posted yesterday the gist of what I said, so I'm not the first.

I actually know who it was.

It was fromwaydowntownbang

Ironically, that's the guy that did that today.

So...

Lets just say. No to BE.

Nuramann's after me to provide filler on his little board, and I see you're there, so I'll probably talk to you there someday.

ha. Nuraman is awesome. I haven't posted on that board since I came here. I was on the ESPN board since I was there for 5 years. But they (finally) shut those down, and i just like this format so much better.

You just posted in the other thread that you haven't visited ESPN for 3 years. Maybe you meant the TV network only.

Good take, rook. Repped.

I do like not feeling like we'll be slaughtered before even starting a road game. :ghoti:
