Not true. I can think of one time we ran the pick and roll with him. He set a pick for Roy.
 
Ya know if im being brutally honest..... the blazers did not play well at all and would have lost to any decent offensive team tonight. the fact that we had to sweat it out vs the rockets 2nd team is kinda scary. the crowd had little life.

some quick points....

still no inside game

12 blocks!!!!! thats the bright spot.

oden still sucks on offense

outlaw played a very good game. bet i dont say that 5 more times this year. he kinda saved us. gag gag gag

webster looks great and ive already forgotten batum

miller is soooooo much better then blake. if blake isnt making threes... hes worthless

brooks still owns us. god blake must hate him. although he killed miller too.

rocket announcers were awful

how did we blow a 20 point lead to that team? we should have been playing howard and bayless in that last 10 minutes.

that rockets team AS IS.... has no chance IMO at the playoffs. they will have trouble scoring. shane looks old.

if we dont improve a lot by thursday... the nuggets will eat us alive.:sigh: however with a win... we might start 4-0. should beat the rockets and okc... i would hope.

I don't recall it, but I'll take your word for it. Oden is defended by a 6'6" center and we run ONE P&R? You're cool with that? Really?

It's been an "angsty" offseason I guess. The other thing that comes to mind is that with expectations sky high, unless the team is clicking on all cylinders and absolutely tearing opponents apart with precision and dominance then people are going to grouse and bitch.

I think the bygone days of being happy with a 'W' no matter how you came by it are long gone.
 
If Outlaw had 7 turnovers tonight, you would all be calling for his head, saying that he should sit the rest of the season in favor of Juwan Howard.

I'm not cool with that and I don't think Oden is either. The problem is people who look at the box score and think we never gave the ball to Oden when that wasn't entirely true and if Oden did better when we gave him the ball, we would've given it to him more. Why continue to force it to him at the expense of possibly losing the game?

Yeah, because Brandon's 5/18, Andre's 3/11, and Blake's 2/6 were so great.
 
oden didnt play well when he had teh ball. he did do a nice job on defense

Why the fuck are you so obsessed with what people may or may not have to say about Outlaw and what the hell does that have to do with Greg? Is this some kind of bizarro Outlaw defense?
 
this is kinda scary to say but.... hayes really went toe to toe with our big men and was very effective. Hayes played a nice first half and kinda handled greg on offense. hayes is a nice player. would love to have him as a backup to greg if joel leaves.

hayes was a bright spot for houston tonight with brooks and the white kid at the end of the game. scola looked awful as well as shane b.

Yes. Did you not see his posts at the beginning of the game trying to point out how great Travis was tonight while damning Greg's turnovers?

I've stated the problem to you twice and I've seen at least two other posts directed to you about positioning. You're not in the mood to discuss the issue honestly; you're in another one of those ridiculous moods where you're debating just to be an ass.

P.S. If Travis Outlaw had seven turnovers with 12 rebounds and six blocks, I wouldn't be calling for his head. I'm a Blazer fan, not a fan of a specific player.

But Outlaw WAS playing great. And Greg WAS turning the ball over. If Outlaw turned the ball over like that, you'd be calling for his head. Admit it. And yet, Outlaw had the least turnovers of anyone on our team. How are Outlaw and Oden connected? Well, because on this message board, Oden is unequivocably, the most loved and Outlaw is absolutely the most hated. Hated. Look at that little game I put up. Outlaw was the first person knocked off. Before Cunningham. Before Howard. Almost everyone in here said they'd rather have Juwan play over Outlaw. Juwan who barely grabbed 2 rebounds a game in 10 minutes (per gam) of play last season. Does Outlaw make mistakes? Yes. But he also does a LOT of good for our team and yet, he is the most hated. Meanwhile, Oden who also makes a TON of mistakes is the most loved. That is how they are connected.

better tighten up by thursday.... or it wont be pretty.

and also we have to beat:sigh: this rockets team on saturday. they are awful.
