You could say the same for Dallas. In fact, this probably applies more to the Mavs.

GW has stopped being involved in the offense at all. He's playing hot potato with the basketball.

Goddamn it, this is fucking the worst scenario. The Blazers CANNOT win a close game with Dallas. Dirk and Kidd and Terry just seem to find a way to put the ball in the bucket when they need it, and I don't trust the Blazers to find a person to do the same.

Roy looks so much more comfortable playing next to a PG. He is a SG after all.

The Blazers do play text-book defense on P&Rs. But it's a text-book on how NOT to defend it.

They need this! Seriously! It will destroy Dallas. If Dallas loses this game and they played well, they lose a lot of confidence.
 
I'm very uneasy. This game has played out EXACTLY the same way the first two games did.

We need it to be like this! We need to show Dallas they can bring their A game and we can still beat them. No one is more nervous than I am right now, but the Blazers have to win games like this.

To me it looks like the guards aren't quick enough to keep up, and then the bigs are just....stupid, I don't know, they don't seem to be doing anything on the PnRs.
 
I think we're better than average on all defense, including the pick and roll.

It's a hard play for any team to defend. We rode that play to a championship.

This is the most important 24 minutes of the entire season. I hope the team knows it, but it looks like Dallas wants it more. Fuck.
 
Nicolas is just wilting under the pressure. And the team is showing zero effort on D. I'd rather see everyone going all out and hacking the shit out of Dallas than give them open looks every time.

Let me rephrase that. A shitty start to the 2nd half.

I really wish the Blazers would actually play with consistency on both ends of the court. Or fuck, one end of the court.

One thing I always liked about the 99-2000 team was that if their offense wasn't flowing, their defense kept them in games and gave them a chance to win almost every game.

that's not the case with this team. Their defense would make Kiki Vandeweghe proud.
