I think Jody should take the fall and sell the team.
Why is this the situation where she sells the team? She doesn't care, just wants the money lol

same agent or same agency?
delete the agent from it then...Payton and the Warriors working the PR?
I forgot that.this is a good point.
also a reminder.... he got injured while in GS in the first place.
That would cost them A LOT of money. And Blazers could play hardball by not buying him out but just sending him away for the season to "recuperate". Then they could trade him in the offseason.Could this be a play by the Warriors to get GP for cheaper? Rescind the deal, have GP then be bought out by the Blazers (there is no way he will still play here with all this), then sign him for cheap off the buyout market?
good.X-ray? no help, needs an MRI to identify any soft tissue damage, X-ray only shows bones.
Exactly... it's straight propaganda coming out of the BayX-ray? no help, needs an MRI to identify any soft tissue damage, X-ray only shows bones.
How much of the trade can be re-negotiated after the deadline? Do all 4 teams have to stay involved? Can other players be added/removed?That would cost them A LOT of money. Yeah, I'm inclined to agree. The whole "forcing him to play" thing sounds dubious. Mind you, he did keep saying he was still in pain and we were getting more or less antsy. He could genuinely have felt pressured into playing. Weird that he and Dame both had similar injuries. I can't remember ever hearing about such an injury before Dame.
Great. All we need are more reasons for players not to want to come here.

Nas had it too. He seems fine. "Pain" by itself could mean any number of things, and it's also possible to have pain but be cleared to play. So who the fuck nows.
Actually, the main reason I'm inclined to burn Cronin/FO right now is BECAUSE of the players. Players tend to support each other, regardless of situation, and we know Payton was supposedly close to a lot of the guys on the team (Dame, Grant, etc.). Yet NONE of them seemed to give a single shit that he's gone. It's possible the players didn't know what was going on with Gary, but I doubt that. They've been with him for months.
Great info, thanks!Keith Smith says it cannot be renegotiated. I'd trust him, works for Spotrac and has worked in the FO of NBA teams before.
And I also guarantee GP was chatting with GS players this whole season. They are tight. Acting like they had no clue about his health status is the epitome of being disingenuous. Seems like retribution for us signing him away.
We "rushed" him back to play how many minutes? What a baby.
Yeah, it seems like he would have said somethin...but then again maybe not.
