As much as I appreciate warranted vindictiveness, the player's union would hate it, and would absolutely cripple our chances of ever signing someone in free agency.I wouldn't want the Blazers to do it, but I wonder if the Blazers could nix the trade. Just let GP2 waste away on the bench forever.
Lol 100% mouthpiece for them. Remind Joe to never deal with that team ever again

As far as I'm concerned it appears highly likely that both the Warriors and GPII planned all along to have the Blazers pay the lion's share of Payton's contract, and for Payton to goldbrick and irritate his way back to GS in time for the playoffs.Don't try to sweep this under the rug, fuck you GSW. You tried to make a whole organization look bad after they helped your boy pay what you weren't willing to.
Like I said, GSW and GP can fuck all the way off.
Did he really?
Its ridiculous how that wording makes it seem like they are the magnanimous ones.
yeah said in an interview this week that when Olshey was around that the franchise was much more professional and people were punctual. That Olshey tan a tight ship.
But wait wasn’t it Olshey who was accused of having a hostile work environment? Lots of contradiction.

If I had twitter I would join them.I haven't looked in a couple of hours, but Woj and Shams both were getting dragged a bit on Twitter earlier today about this and not just by Blazer fans.

I am one of then
I've been looking again now that I'm back from my run. Yeah, there are just regular fans taking them to task, telling them they should retract, saying they wrote hit pieces and that they were flooding their newsfeed repeating the same vague information over and over.
can you direct me to any of those threads?
Everyone has to be clickbait nowadays.I haven't looked in a couple of hours, but Woj and Shams both were getting dragged a bit on Twitter earlier today about this and not just by Blazer fans.

PreachNot everyone, but, unfortunately, a lot of the ones that do it get rewarded. Too many people like to swim in the drama.
The 24-hour, get-it-out-there-first news cycle has really damaged good journalism, along with the bad pay and hours. People glorify the columnists and pundits over the actual reporters and no one knows the difference. It takes little time for someone to write 500 words of what they think ... they don't even need to be informed. But, you know, actually talking to people, sending messages, waiting for them to get back to you and then finding someone else to corroborate that source? That takes time and effort.
