Wait, so basically now he was given over the counter extra strength advil?

Where do I sign up for the pitchforks to protest at the practice facility and demand that Jody sell the team and also for Joe to get fired?

One other thing I've noticed that I think is a little bit convenient about this whole episode. The allegations against the Blazers have shifted.

The original narrative was that the Blazers essentially abused Payton, who really wasn't healthy enough to play and was being shot up with painkillers when he still needed to be out for the rest of the season.

Now it's that the Blazers didn't thoroughly report Payton's health status to GS. That complaint's a far cry from where this started.

That's what one would expect when someone makes a bogus charge and is trying to save face.
I think Payton exaggerated to them and now he’s waking it back.

I think the Warriors should be able to make the trade official and the league should be able to investigate if we misled the Warriors about Gary's health. If we did we should be penalized and maybe the Warriors should be compensated. If we didn't though, there should be consequences for the Warriors and the league should put out a statement that makes it very clear that we did nothing wrong.

Warriors fans sound like my parents who constantly quote Tucker Carlson to me. Also one of them sent me a message saying we didn’t know what a championship trophy looked like before promptly deleting it. Shows that they weren’t a fan until 7-8 years ago.

With this as a backdrop, and knowing Dame's close relationship with Draymond, I would love to see what those two are texting about right now.

If somehow we were fucked out of a pick, it wouldn’t be a first rounder would it?

Apparently, use of toradol is pretty widespread in athletics;

“All 50 players agree it's most effective to take Toradol on game day, typically an hour or so before warm-ups. ("It zaps that inflammation," says an AFC offensive lineman. "The pain would kick in Monday," says another.)”

https://thelab.bleacherreport.com/n...yers agree it's,says an AFC offensive lineman.

It would interesting to know how many other Warriors players use it.

I saw a post on Facebook (I think) this morning by the Blazers welcoming Kevin Knox to the team. It was posted 17 hours ago. Does that mean the trade has gone through?

probably not officially

I'd anticipate that the Warriors, being the obvious drama queens they are, will drag this all the way out to the last minute

I'd also anticipate that Payton will play by the first week in March, maybe sooner. If he doesn't than he obviously injured himself in his rush to get on a plane for the Bay

I bet he re-injured it playing Dance Dance Revolution.

I bet he aggravated it more with all the walking back he had to do.

Did he make any accusations or was it just the Warriors? I can see them asking him if he was taking any medications and he answered. Then the Warriors freaked out over it and started embellishing the situation.
