Trent doesn't have a choice in the matter. He's a RFA. We can keep him if we want to.Oshley could be aggressive and try CJ, Ant, Hood, and maybe Nas, for a close-to- superstar piece and a fucking real backup point guard. Then hope to hell Trent will sign.
Plenty of teams would love to have CJ and or Ant.
OR
Deal Trent now instead of CJ. Having both makes no sense to me. Trent will bolt if he sees himself as a bench player. Then Portland gets shit.
I assure you that this is what Neil will do. NOTHING. Trent is as good as gone IMHO.
I am all for your first scenario though... I want Trent starting at SG for a long time.
