Ime Udoka Sleeping Around

His story is not going away. They have been talking about it for a week. The thing is he has not played in over a decade, no one really cares about him anymore. He got crucified back in the day for his sexual harassment. Udoka is the head coach of the Boston Celtics, it is going to garner more interest with the season starting next week. Plus it has the sex component which always gets more "clicks".

As for those trying to make this a race thing.....ask Mike Price about that. The dude got fired before he even coached 1 game at Alabama for getting drunk at a strip joint. A hell of a lot of players do that.

While true he's been out for a decade, I can't subscribe to that. He's still a prominent hall of Fame player with current relevance (advertisements etc.) Though I won't deny the higher relevance of Udoka. So yes, while you are correct in that, I say the gap -- while still wide -- given the nature of our country (corruption everywhere), it still should lead the news. Mainly because it affects a hell of a lot more people than Udokas dumbass decision making and judgment did.

But, I get where you're coming from so don't think I was denouncing it. Just saying my thinking on it.

It is weird about the race thing. I just consider it to be two people lacking character in very different but disgusting ways.

The Twists and Turns

"The Celtics officially suspended Udoka on Thursday night "for violations of team policies." The news came less than 24 hours after The Athletic's Shams Charania reported through anonymous sources that Udoka "had an improper intimate and consensual relationship with a female member of the team staff." Charania clarified in a later report, "the woman recently accused Udoka of making unwanted comments toward her."

I’m still surprised Sam Cassell hasn’t got shot at head coach yet.

He has, he coaches the national team of the planet he's originally from.

Saw a segment on athletic scandals on Joy Reid. Focused more on Favre which actually involves alleged crime. Suggested Favre getting pass in media because he is a personable (and white) dude.

On Ime, pointed out NBA Coaches Association hasn't said a word. If Coaches thought he was being treated unfairly they would be defending him or at least questioning. Which makes people think there's more than we know.

In his rookie coaching year he took the team to the Finals and may be done as a coach.

Media guys are walking back defending Ime....apparently it's much, much worse than originally reported. Baffled the team hasn't fired him and fully expect him to resign soon. He's ruined his career more than likely and hopefully hasn't ruined a lot of other people's at the same time.

So...after clearly and repeatedly describing this as a consensual relationship, the organization is now changing their story? SMH.

There are statements that he was given multiple chances to stop the behavior and he did not. Yeah i believe there is more to it than we know?
