It does? It was obvious that Hillary had the votes to win against Trump - and she did not. That's why there are elections and counts. It is not obvious to me at all that they have the support - they might just have a lot more loud supporters. I honestly do not know.
Well, the electoral college was responsible for that, not the Iowa caucuses or the DNC. However I'd say that at the very least in 2016 there was some cause for concern in how Hillary got the nomination and not Bernie in 2016, maybe that was all on the up and up too. :dunno:

CHEATIN' DEMS!

Jesus, for everyone to see. What a disaster for them. And on the night before the State of the Union.

I have no freaking clue - but that goes both ways - so if he loses - I am certainly not certain that there was some kind of conspiracy against him.

I will say that my experience is that people are usually more centrist - so I would not be surprised at all of the Mayor or Biden come out on top.

You can prove Usain Bolt can run faster than the average anyone simply with a radar gun and factual evidence.

In theory that could be done, but I'm going to just rely on common sense instead.

I really don't either, but I will say I think even the higher up's in the DNC at one point claimed the primaries were rigged, and then walked it back to just that there was a bias. Which is fine. I've read arguments that Bernie actually benefitted from that.

What I said was that if I was a Bernie supporter at be upset with how this has played out (especially if he doesn't win), because it seems like he has support but they don't want him too. Maybe that's just me buying into the Bernie supporters story, maybe it's the truth.

So you admit that humans are incompetent or at least that's your observation, but you'd like us to rely on our common sense. It seems like a good choice. :)

Humans are incompetent. I don't personally identify as human, and my common sense is divine.

Trump is gonna remove the mic from its stand tonight and do crowd work for an hour tonight lol

Same way I'd go about proving to you that most senior citizens can't run as fast as Usain Bolt.

If your observations of the human condition lead you to believe that there are more conspiracies than incompetence. well, then you may be a conspiracy theorist.

lol...there is definitely incompetence in-play here but the conspiracy theory energize's incompetent people and procedures.
Just look at the last three years, plenty of both going around.

Trump campaign: Iowa Democratic "caucus mess" is "the sloppiest train wreck in history"

Can't argue with the fastest train wreck administration in history on this point. Well played, sir, well played.

Ive heard that Joe had a terrible night?

The unofficial results I saw last night had him behind pretty much every other major and mid-major candidate. This was never a state Biden was expected to win (South Carolina and Nevada were supposed to be his strong states among the early ones), but coming in sixth or seventh would still be pretty terrible for him.

I would thunk Joe or Pete would pick up Klobachar supportes down the road?

Well, it doesn't look like Biden will be 6th or 7th, but it does looks like a 3rd-5th place finish, and that isn't really a help for him.

The problem for Biden is if other moderates start looking electable, then he may lose some of his supporters who are with him only because they believe he's best positioned to beat Trump.

No doubt. However, if Bernie can push Warren out of the race, he picks up more of her supporters than anyone else.

One more thought - Yang and Steyer and Gabbard and Bennet and whatever other random candidates are still in the race got essentially zero in IA. They'll probably do better in NH (state motto: Vote Randomly or Die), but anyone still less than say 3% there should probably think about spending more time with their families.
