Who was the coach at the time? How many good defensive guards, that were poor 3pt shooters, did Terry play? Kerr snatched him up and played him to his strength. (And his shooting improved) We probably overpaid to get him, but we can always use his salary in a trade if he does not fit.

He was always great at D, but he has vastly improved his outside shot which along with crashing to the hoop with his plus hops gives him a role on both ends of the court.

Regarding the Clippers trade

RoCo has fallen off dramatically. Even with Kawhi out, he is out of their rotation. He’s been playing 6-7 minutes per game recently and even some DNP-CDs.

I say we officially got the better end of that trade.
