Jusuf Nurkic (thread) (1 Viewer)

All I know is that Nurk outplayed every center he played against after joining Portland.

That includes Kanter and Jokic.

So I care about more what actually happened on the court than what some writers think.

I cant help but wonder if he does break out like we all hope if it's not better for the team if he is the leading scorer for this team. Meaning Dame and CJ take a slight step back. Not drastic but maybe they each average right around 20 ppg. What I mean is that if Nurk was the focal point of our offense what does that say about the flow of our offense, the success of the season for Nurk and the team as a result? Would this make us better overall?
Why would Dame and CJ have to take a step back? There's more than enough shots for Dame to average 27, CJ 24, and Nurk 20... The only reason Dame and CJ would take a step back would be so that Nurkic could get more shots and so that other players still had the same number of attempts (Aminu, Turner, etc.)... I say take the role players attempts and give them to Nurk. Nurk should play 33min a game this year and averaged 18.6 per 36 last year without CJ and Dame taking a step back.

I just don't understand why people think "Maybe CJ and Dame should limit their scoring..."

MY MUTHAFUCKIN' MAN!!!!!
I can respect this...but what about 'Killer Burger?' I hadn't visited home in years until this summer, and after a great day hiking waterfalls at the gorge in July my friends said I had to try said joint.

Didn't disappoint!

Killer Burger lives up to its name! Little Big Burger is as good in its own way too.

I was trying to text my GF and accidentally posted on here lmao

First off, I'm not one of these people that think Dame and/or CJ should take less shots. When you have that firepower you gotta take it right at your opponents. Stotts did however mention that he wants to get Nurkic the ball early in the shot clock. It will be interesting to see whether they do shoot less or are less aggressive in any way. I don't think it would have an effect on anyone else getting their looks, but who knows. If Nurk gets doubled and he can find the open man, everyone should get PLENTY of swish3s!

Yep, I like this plan in general. Plus, hey, if you have more guys who deserve looks, just shoot more shots! :ghoti:

Best coffee in the States. Hands down.
so PDX has best food in the USA if Im not wrong, I think I read or heard that somewhere
theres some bosnian restaurants or something in PDX, Nurk went there, so did CJ
