6 minutes
2 rebounds
2 blocked shots
1 assist
0 fouls
0 turnovers
1 for 1 shooting

Mark my words. We will need our best player per minute Freeland to bail us out at the end.

He has 5 assists and has only taken 3 shots at the half. I'll take that any night.

And, being the next Steph Curry (hopefully, without the injuries) would not be a bad thing.

BNM

No it wouldn't, but just watching him....he's pretty pedestrian as a playmaker.

Yes but those shots will eventually fall more regularly eventually IMO. He has a lot of confidence which is something we haven't had off the bench since Crawford.

I don't think so. Everyone in the NBA has confidence... doesn't mean their shot is going to fall.

Yeah, but when CJ comes back, is that what we need? We need a point guard to play with Lillard and to run the second unit. Not convinced at this point that Mo can do that.

Trade Mo and sign Kendell Marshall, what could go wrong? :ghoti:

Some of those assist opportunities were created by Batum and Mo Williams, not to mention his assists on the season are down (So far).

What's really strange to me is that Batum seems to be the one setting up the offense most of the time. Nic is a good playmaker, but does Stotts believe is a better playmaker than Damian? Something to think about.

Maybe it's not necessarily that he's a better playmaker than Dame, but maybe Dame is such a great pure scorer that the team works better with Batum initiating the offense at times?

Mo looked so much better on offense in the preseason, but right now he's just completely worthless.

I'm not a fan of his game at all, but to his credit, he's kept the number of selfish jacks in check tonight. I wonder if Stotts has taken him aside?

I'm really interested in seeing CJ in the lineup. Based on Summer League, he seemed capable of scoring in a greater variety of ways than Mo.

I dunno, either way I think the ball should be in Lillard's hands 90% of the time. He's your best player. If the shot clock is going down he's the best option for a bailout shot. I don't like Batum being the main ballhandler because he's just not too good at creating for himself, but maybe Stotts sets it up this way because Batum is just that much better of a playmaker.

In summer league CJ reminded me a little bit of a young Mo. Gunner type PG/SG who likes the ball in his hands.

*Sigh*, anything is better than Matthews trying to make a play though. Haha

LaMarcus talks about losing a step the past few years.....young LA would have been at the hoop waiting for that Matthews pass.

Mo is a good trade piece at least. I'd like to see 10-15 games of Mo with CJ and if Mo continues to play like a 2, deal him.

I'd like to put LA on Cousins, Lopez is doing all he can do but Cousins is still having his way with him.

Never seen Dame hesitate on a wide open three like that before...

Lillard, nice drive to draw FTs

There's a drive by Lillard.

More of that please. Kthx.

Anyone else notice how little whistles were hearing? I don't remember that many fouls.

Mother Fuck! I just burned my microwave popcorn.

They are letting us play, which is what they should do. I hate these 20+ FT's for both teams and 25+ fouls for both team games.

Nice oop from Nic to Wes!

The #Blazers surrendered just 14 points in the paint vs the Kings in the first half. A dramatic improvement.

Batum's playmaking looks legit improved though. Lots of turnovers last year. He's cut down on that and his vision has improved.

Is that true? Admittedly, I never followed his career. Didn't strike me as a guy who could score near the hoop that well. CJ seemed to have that floater, quick pullup in the lane game down.

Lillard to the rim, getting more FTs
