Freeland is playing limited minutes because of his hip injury.

Cousins is on fire. Put Joel on him

Re: So many empty seats!

It's the MODA curse. This never happened when the games were held at the Rose Garden.

Hearing about the empty seats gives me hope I may be able to take my girls to game or two this year. If I lived closer, I'd be there tonight. I also can't take the upper level vertigo. Any time someone wants to get me decent seats for a decent price, I'll make the trip. In the meantime, the closest I'm getting to this game tonight is this game thread.

Yeah. the 300 level I just can't handle.

Yeah. I'm hoping to go. I want to go to the Cavs/Blazer game. Seats are oddly cheap for that game, even though it has probably one of the top 3 PG's coming to town.

Wheels is nice and all, but it just isn't the same. I'm too young to remember, but didn't they have some sort of a PPV option a long time ago? Why didn't they do something like that statewide when it was obvious no one was going to get the channel? I'm sure Comcast would have been all for people in areas without Comcast overpaying them.

Yeah, Blazercable and later Blazervision (I think??).

But once it went to FSN, and we saw games often on TV (they had more games on KGW then too..which is the real kick in the shins...if 30 games were on KGW, I wouldn't mind it), and now we're spoiled/expect it.

btw, could Joel win MIP? His stats won't show it, but his improvement from last year to this year is HUGE.

He was a borderline player last year, now he's a legit backup.

Yep, we FINALLY got the channel down here and no one even realizes/cares anymore. They've really killed all interest in large portions of the state.
A guy in my office is a big Blazers fan (not as big a fan as me, but still ;) ). He lives in a small town nearby that has Charter. He didn't even know he could get the games now. When I told him, he shrugged and said he probably wouldn't pay for it. He's lived without the games for so long, it doesn't matter anymore. I agree this ComCrap fiasco has drawn on so long they have completely lost a lot of fans.

Shot chart so far:

9 3 pointers
10 shots 15-23
11 shots 12 feet and in

Much, much better

That's actually pretty much how I am. Honestly, with the games not on TV frequently, it's very easy to not care about the games much. I've gotten used to not watching games or really being that concerned about the team most of the time.

Mo is definitely starting to wear on my patience.

That's why I get so sick of the stupid Blazer media. They tried to hype him, when he deserves no hype. He's done nothing. I was excited to see him come on the team... now my only excitement is to see him off the team at some point.

Old news, but Damian's 9 points on 3 shots is about as efficient as you can get.

The problem is that he's not playing like a point guard. He's a shooting guard, and at this point I would much rather see CJ as our backup shooting guard.

3 good passes will break down any defense.

I still want to watch the games, but i'm not going to get the fancy cable and cable package just to watch them, i want to cut the cord, not get even more. If they'd get rid of that bullshit blackout nonsense it wouldn't be a problem anymore.

CJ will be nice. Can't wait to let Mo become a backup PG and get our bench REALLY going.
