I have zero ability to edit posts here. I just quoted you bud. A mod edited your post.

I edited my own post please reread. But yes we can all edit a post when quoting it. i could totally change what you said in this quote if i wanted. See how i added something you didnt say

Why would you even think to change somebody’s post?!? That’s messed up.

To claim they said something they didn’t?

Looks like there's a decent chance I'm going to need to move all the Kyrie-related posts to their own thread.

I'm being restricted in the other thread.

It says, You have insufficient privileges to reply here.

Why did this happen?

Ok. Like this?

Riiiight….

What you dont know but assume you do is that that post was edited. It had nothing to do with kyrie, or racism. It had to do with trusting someone in confidence about information. but if you want to pile on all the judgmental going on, be my guest….

Do you mods really abbreviate "Around the NBA" to "AtN" in your little private chats??
Nah--I was just trying something out. You do not approve?

For the record, Kyrie himself did not say anything. He posted a link.
He may be an ass but the lunch mob out for him is no different than saying Udoka should never coach again.

some of you guys are simply over the top man.

Kyrie should be disciplined for posting a link to a documentary that is overtly racist.

Precisely what I was thinking. It's almost like people WANT people to be hateful. Posting a link to a documentary that may have antisemitism in it isn't the same as being antisemitic.

I've seen "antisemitism" be used to stifle meaningful discourse on the apartheid state in Israel. I don't think turning courtside seats into a justice confirmation is helpful. If Kyrie said something antisemitic, he should pay for it. All anyone has said is linked to a documentary which just isn't the same.

Saying all that, I'm not even a fan of Kyrie Irving. Doesn't mean he should be labeled a racist.
So I can post links to racist things on here, and because I don't add any commentary to the racism, you think it doesn't make me a racist? That's not how this works. Especially when Kyrie kind of doubled down on all of it in his press conference.

I find the players to be so hypocritical in this Kyrie situation. When the bigot is an owner, law enforcement or politician, they have no issues taking to their platforms to denounce the act. But when the bigot is one of their own…crickets. I haven’t seen LeBron James tweet about it. I haven’t seen Steph Curry tweet about it. The NBPA statement couldn’t even state his name. Hate and racism is hate and racism. You can’t pick and choose when you want to use your voice. The silence is deafening.

Strange battle you are battling here my friend. Says a lot.

So you've seen the documentary to assert it is racist? I haven't seen it, but I would bet the antisemitism spoken of is pretty subtle and not the main point of the film. Isn't the film about African culture of some sorts? So the ideas of antisemitism probably flew right over Kyrie's head since it's not the main point of the film. Again, I haven't seen it. You probably haven't either.

I'm surprised we're not calling the movie Black Adam antisemitic at this point.
Please, stop. It's embarrassing enough as it is.

The NBA let players put names like “end racism” “end hate” on the bubble jerseys, but now that it’s one of their own who is doing it, crickets…….
