Updates

Magic
They practiced for more than two hours Sunday, going over both offensive and defensive schemes. Forward/center Robert Archibald, obtained from Phoenix last week, practiced with the team for the first time, although he isn't expected to play tonight. The Magic expect a good crowd. Even though the Knicks have lost much of their luster, they still have a strong following.

Knicks
They have gone with second-year pro Frank Williams at point guard, which could mean the end for veterans Charlie Ward and Howard Eisley. Williams started his first game Saturday and the Knicks drilled the Heat in Miami. Other changes are coming with the hiring of Isiah Thomas as team president. There is continued speculation that Coach Don Chaney could be replaced by Brendan Malone, an assistant coach now.

Jump's Prediction

Magic can win this. This team is starting to gel together. We are still weak down low, but wins are beginning to arrive. After a tough loss to San Antonio on Friday, look for the Magic to come out with lots of energy, eager for the win.

Tracy McGrady suffered a right hip strain during the first quarter and did not return after playing just 11 minutes.* McGrady is listed as day-to-day. Gordan Giricek scored 21 points to lead Orlando.

I'm surprised that the knicks scored that much against magic. But really it was the injury and KVH offensive surpised that led the knicks to a victory.
