I heard on the news tonight that they called 27 witnesses. Seems like that ought to be more than enough.

Nope, those 3 are the only thing Mueller has going for him, and without him Benghazi happened.

He actually rescues stray cats, sells them, and donates the money to Planned Parenthood.

C'mon Sly, I'm a dog person all the way.

passed
Gidget - Cocker Spaniel - hit by car at age 24
Foxy Lady - Lab Retriever adopted out because she was gun shy and kept climbing out my window onto our 2nd story roof.
Arnold - Cockapoo - died in the fire at age 1 when our home burned down
Bilbo Baggins - Cockapoo - hit by car injuring kidney - took pills daily for it - laid down on the sunny lawn and died at age 5
Travis - shepardgolden/mutt - stolen by passing car at age 2
(Han) Solo - Alaskan Husky/shepard mix - put down at age 14 - brain tumor
Clover Belle - Pedigree Jack Russell, niece of Wishbone of TV fame - put down at age 11 - stomach cancer

current

Pasco - Rescued from shelter - Purebred Jack Russell
Lucy - Jack Russell/Pekinese mix

Motion filed for acquittal.

Pretty standard filing, we'll see.

Looks like Mueller decided these 3 would simply prove Manafort's innocence even further than Gates did, as all 3 seem to have used him, rather than been cohorts. Just like Gates did.

Maybe the defense will call them as hostile witnesses? :dunno:

This isn't the last Manafort-related trial, you know.

It could be, depending on the outcome.
Cross your fingers, your toes and any other human body parts and you're still gonna come up with at least one more criminal trial.

Closing statements tomorrow...then its prison time. I wonder how long it will take the jury

This is the kind of fantasy that can only be either the result of heavy drugs or mental illness. Manafort is going down.

I would say a lot of people with common sense, I don't know of anyone that claims to be a psychic in the thread.
Yes, once again, I wasn't speaking literally. I'm sorry you have a difficult time with sarcasm. I can quite easily look through the couple pages of the thread to see that nobody actually, literally claimed to be psychic. I am aware of this. It doesn't make you appear smarter to point out such obvious things (nor does correcting minor grammatical errors), it just makes it appear as though you don't fully understand the things people post on here.

Are you having difficulty with sarcasm thrown back at you?

This trial will be quickly decided but he faces another trial in 5 weeks with a new jury for peddling influence with foreign politicians ..it'll be a less cut and dried conviction than his tax evasion and money laundering banking fraud that this trial addressed...next one will have some teeth in the Mueller investigations.

No, why? He wasn't being sarcastic in his comment, unless you consider blatant grammar corrections part of the fine art.

Good looking one liner, though. It just wasn't relevant this time.

I don't know whether this is true or not, but it's pretty damn funny:

Roger Stone says that when he told radio host Randy Credico to "prepare to die cock sucker,” he wasn't threatening Credico, but simply offering words of support after Credico's cancer diagnosis

I presume your last two lines had nothing to do with me and so I want to be clear that I did not intend my remark as any kind of sarcasm.

I'm going to take this opportunity to remind you that I care about everyone, which includes you, because I believe in the human soul and I believe in cherishing each and every human soul.

I'll also remind you that I'm imperfect yet striving to improve. I've got a long way to go.

Sorry about going so far off track but every once in a while I feel the need to confess and redouble my efforts to treat my fellow man better. It feels cleansing.

I wonder if Trump will pardon Manafort once he is found guility...probably

Deliberations to begin shortly
