I'm a meatetarian

Agree. I am mostly vegetarian but eat meat sometimes weekends and when I go out. Same with alcohol and dessert. Special occasion. I am one of those who have to constantly be watching weight, unlike my brother and late father who never gained an ounce.

But I told my dental hygienist I will not give up drinking black tea no matter how much it stains my teeth. I go for cleaning three times a year and she always groans over tea stains, but fuck, I need one vice!
I too drink black tea. I too get my teeth cleaned three times a year.
By the way, there is pigment in people's teeth. Some people have more pigment and some people have less.

Mr. Spud doesn't seem to mind... :smiley-domina:

Favorites are deer, elk, pheasant, grouse, quail, rabbit.
I like all those except deer and rabbit and yes, I've had both. I've only had rabbit once and it seemed nearly identical to chicken. It's just the thought of eating a little bunny rabbit that bothers me. I've had a lot of venison and never liked the taste. I always had to hide the taste with a lot of steak sauce. Elk is superb.

I thought people quit eating that when Davey Crockett died.

I've had squirrel. Not possum or skunk tho.

That I know of.

Harvested bok choy from my garden yesterday for a stir fry. It took thorough and careful washing to avoid meat of a kind none of us want to eat. Astonishing collection of slugs, insects and assorted creepy crawlies hiding among the stalks.

Bok Choy is great in Chinese stir fry THAT INCLUDES MEAT. Toss in some water chestnuts, tomato, pea pods and bamboo shoots while you're at it. I'm not a big fan of mushrooms in Chinese food

I did add shiitake, spring onions, garlic, ginger, dried hot peppers, sesame oil
I forgot to mention ginger, hot peppers (optional) and sesame oil. Can't go the shiitakes though, even though my wife loves them.
