I do listen. I don't agree and I refute. Just because they don't agree with my responses doesn't mean that I hear what they're saying. It's a copout to say I'm not listening. I literally do say those words. Hell, I even say things like "I understand and don't completely disagree." This shit that I don't listen to their opinions is fake news. I listen to them, I don't agree with them, and I move on. If it gets to the point where they start attacking me, I put them on ignore. I don't know what else you want from me. I believe you were on the private conversation between me, sly, and another poster. I unloaded on them in PMs but I didn't share those opinions in the forum because I don't think it's appropriate. But if someone is going to attack me and call me an idiot, or an asshole or whatever, I'm going to return fire.
You had me at "for the women and drugs".For the women and drugs.
One dude way back in the day in this community threatened to drive up to Seattle and kick in my front door... he was just out of prison and didn't GAF, he said. Knowing my address was on the internet (I'm not going to say how, but it's not rocket science to find it), I was legit scared for a day or two.Sadly you found out about that the hard way a few times.
People who go after someone's life because of shit they post on here are literally human garbage. That has happened a few times. If you try to get someone fired for an opinion on this forum, get fucked.

I hope I clarified that as a former mod, I was not pointing a finger at the mods here. I tried anyway. I have been apart of many convos behind the scenes as a mod. I know how it works, and how much work it takes.
I hope to hell I don't add to your work.

Theres not a chance in hell Nate is the most disliked person on this board.
I'm here.
Fair enough. I know we don't always agree but never seem to be disrespecting each other in our responses to one another. I will keep an eye out on these dust ups and see what's up when they happen. It's easier in the moment because you can look at what was said and by who.
Really, just putting out a reminder out to everyone here, not just you to take in account we are part of a forum with many people and many opinions. We all forget that sometimes. Let's just get along. A chill forum is a fun forum.
Dude, those people would have zero problem with me right now if I was on here posting "I love Dame. I hope Dame doesn't leave. I don't think Dame is gonna leave. I love Dame." They only dislike me because they disagree with me. If I was on their side, there would be ZERO complaints. It's not my style. It's the content.
I got to the point where I just put people on ignore if they want to be toxic.... but that doesn't stop them. I just found that it was nice to not see their comments most of the time.
It's a reflection of society and those that preach tolerance can be the least tolerant of all. Respect and consideration can create a nice mix.Agree 100%. Bunch of pansies...

Ah yes. Hookers and blow. The American Dream...For the women and drugs.
My guess is that everyone that plays Draymond HATES him and his teammates (except for Poole) LOVE him. Those kinds of players exist in all sports and they are rare and valuable.I've always hated Draymond, but if he becomes a Blazer I could learn to appreciate him. I personally have never liked guys like him on my team. Hopefully, he wouldn't be a distraction for the younger guys.
My biggest concern would be having Nurk next to Draymond. Draymond is getting older and has a lot of miles on him. Nurk is a big slug. I'd like Draymond a lot more if it was Claxton next to him. Dame-Sharpe-Grant-Green-Claxton would be beatiful.
Why would you wanna talk smack about the Porno Booths?Imagine having to be careful what and how you post here BECAUSE of where you work….
To think, the GM drafted the best player available. To think, Dame , in what was his best season , shut it down for the "wink wink" betterment of the team, and the GM drafts a player at his position. Joe's not only on the clock to add a valuable vet to the lineup to show Dame . but also to players around the League to show that Joe's a man of his word, or full of B.S.
in 1990, maybe the most hated NBA player in Porland was Danny Ainge...then he signed with the Blazers
I heard he is on vacation, not to return until sometime after next week?I bet Joe is just sitting back twiddling his thumbs right now.
I understand that. But we shall see if they add the top end wing talent that's said to be in the plan. If they do, i will sing Joe's praises as well. I just want him to keep his word.To think, the GM drafted the best player available.
Drafting Scoot had nothing to do with Dame. We're trying to increase the level of talent on this team and we weren't getting commensurate talent offers for the #3 pick.
It would be quite incredible if the Blazers lucked out with the #3 pick due to input from the #3 pick the Blazers passed on in 1984. Jordan and the Hornets seemingly going with size and fit over talent, just like the Blazers did.To think, the GM drafted the best player available.

With free agency starting Friday? Or are you just joshing us?I heard he is on vacation, not to return until sometime after next week?
I guess the function is there for a reason.
Man i agree River. It's all a bowl of goulash right now.So, there was a meeting between Joe and Dame yesterday and Draymond is here today partying with Dame...sorry if I'm off topic..I get confused as to what thread I'm in reading posts sometimes.
