Sometimes I miss stuff like this, and sometime's I'm like "wow..."

I'm a "laundry" fan. That said, 17 y/o me hated that I had to know who Marcelo Nicola was, and I'd hate it if I had to think about rooting for Tyler Herro because we dumped the greatest Blazer I've rooted for.
Dame's almost 3 years younger than Steph, and he's younger than Steph was when they selected Wiseman. He's the same age as when they selected Moody and Kuminga. And he's the same age Steph was when a historically-great-shooting short PG won a title with a hobbled Klay and Draymond--partially because Poole and Wiggins balled out of their minds (and high-tail projections).

You've all probably rehashed this 1,000 times, but I got the feeling that the extra 2/120M extension got tacked on to both show Dame POR was serious about keeping him and as loyalty (if you think like me) or hush (if you think he's calculating a way out) bonuses for time served. Nobody had to do that.

Even if Dame becomes the most overpaid version of Heat Ray Allen ever, he can easily, even if he regresses a bunch, roll into a role as designated sharpshooter once the young'uns take over in 3-4 years. I haven't looked at your mock trade board yet, but a defensive-minded big is really one of the few missing pieces, and Ant has some value (not as much as a 23y/o 3pt assassin should have, but some) to do some roster rebalancing. Or as I said elsewhere, if it takes Sharpe to get a young big like Mobley, I'm also down for those types of challenge trades.

i go to sleep now and when i wake up for work (in less than 4 hours), there better be news one way or the other

Pleasant dreams. I actually had a dream where Dame was leading the Blazers . They were in throwback to 89-90 uni's. Then the phone rang. True story.

Miami has the worst home crowd and broadcast crew in the league in my view....Miami is not a basketball city at all. Great place to start a soccer team. Dame is used to having one of the best home crowds in the league...not an echo chamber during games.

Yep, cause that guy is a mod and had the most insulting of all the posts. He, of al people here, should know better even if he is insulting another mod by telling him he is the dumbest person he has ever met or talked to.
However it has since been removed i see.
At any rate, reading all this os a waste of time…

He should and it's being dealt with.

A friend just told me that it's highly unlikely the best combo of Dame's teammate over an entire decade would win a title. The fact that this could even be debated is a total failure.

This.

Tee shirt fans. Show up when things are good.

Thing about Miami is that this year was an total fluke. Shot close to 5 percent better from three. Giannis was hurt. Everything broke their way. Butler going on 40.

If Dame were to leave and go to Miami, they are gonna blow it up next year. He doesn't want to sell out for that. He's all Blazer and folks will see soon enough.

wow....one all-star , the horrible mesh with CJ, and about 3 other low-level starters

is there any star in the NBA who would have put up with that kind of abject front office incompetence?

Certainly nobody of Dame's talent level has every done it for that duration. I still can't believe there were folks who thought the 2017-2021 teams were under-achieving

Chad and Dwight are 100% convinced that Dame is asking out.

Not based on any reports. They just are sure that's what is happening.
So, you're saying Dame is definitely not asking out. That's a relief.

Jiminy crickets….

I want to catch up on this news.
I want to come here and click on this thread for real info on this….

but after reading up so far, many of you are making this simply unbearable…. And it started with a mod insulting another mod…

Is it finally time to start finding my Blazer news elsewhere?
… great job forum posting domineering aggressive nonsense…
Some of you should be straight up embarrassed. (Yeah im looking at you EdO.)…
…If i actually thought there was any self observance/awareness left in some…

@SlyPokerDog would you be so kind as to start a new thread on this topic once any valid news is posted? Im not gonna continue to read this back and forth crap so many posters are doing in here…including mods…

or i can just find a new place for my Blazer news like i mentioned above…

A few of the mods got under each other's skins. It's being handled. We are human. We aren't bots. A lot of the BS posts going on aren't against the rules. We can't stop everything you don't like. If you'd like to go elsewhere, that's your prerogative.

I would say that losing to a severely hobbled Nuggets team in the first round was shameful. That was definitely under-achieving.

I'm not going to debate every 6 game stretch in the era was something to be proud of. Overall, the results were way better than they should have been. Some realized it then, others are coming around to it now, and there are probably those who still don't get it.
