Milwaukee trading Plumlee for hibbert and hawes

This has to mean either Henson or Monroe will be traded, right?

Maybe MJ/Cho thought they were getting our Plumlee?

The only way to explain this. Hibbert's deal is expiring and Hawes has $ 6 mil player option this summer. Plumlee is on the first year of a 4 yr, 53 mil deal and has nearly 15 DNP-CDs this year.

How about a three way I love three ways

Davis to whoever for a 2nd round pick

That 2nd rounder plus another 2nd plus Ezeli for Henson

Does that work? Not sure what hensons value is anymore, but I want him.

I know Aminu drives us crazy (with his crazy drives) but he's actually one of our more valuable players. He is our best defender by a significant margin. I'd rather not give him up easily, even though I like Henson.

Looking at their roster - do they really need wings?
1 antetokounmpo,gi SF
2 parker,jabari PF (really a "power" SF)
4 brogdon,malcolm SG
5 beasley,michael SF
6 snell,tony SF
10 vaughn,rashad SG
11 terry,jason SG
14 novak,steve SF

And if my memory serves me correct, Chandler is the guy Olshey really wanted two years ago, before settling on Afflalo.

Thon Maker finally got some minutes (now there are no more Canada games so he can just stay in the country and not get sent back to Sudan)

With him and Brogdon, I like the Bucks' draft A LOT.

Bucks will not take Davis or any other big. I think they will trade one of Monroe and Henson but won't take a big in return. They need a scorer but Crabbe is too expensive currently, especially as he will have no place in the team once Middleton returns. However Miami are supposed to be shopping Dragic and he'd fit Milwaukee like a glove, however Miami don't need an expensive big in return - maybe we could somehow get involved in a 3-team deal. Then again Miami won't be interested in our highest paid assets because they will need to have cap flexibility to go after some big names in the Summer which they inevitably will. Maybe Aminu + Ezeli + a pick? But that's a very steep price to pay if we are only getting Henson.

Yeah I am surprised that Milwaukee did this. They seemed to love Plumlee.....this summer. 5 years for 12 mil a season. They basically dumped his salary for nothing. Charlotte got a good deal.

Is Miles Plumlee injured or something? This year, he basically doesn't even resemble the player he was the last few years. It's like every part of his game collapsed simultaneously.

Probably a good buy-low acquisition for Charlotte from a talent-given-up perspective--the salary they're committing to is a pretty big gamble, though, if he's permanently broken.

another case of a guy gettin paid and goin away?

I feel like players having bad years is not well correlated with recently getting a big deal. Ed Davis is having a pretty terrible year and didn't just get a big new deal. In fact, in year 1 of the deal he did get from Portland, he was a pretty nice player. McCollum just got a huge extension and has taken his game to a new level.

Aminu & Ezeli (no pick) for Henson and expiring Jason Terry is fair value.
Just not sure that is the direction we want to go in the future.
I think that would be a good deal, but Milwaukee isn't interested in Aminu I'm willing to bet. Would need a third team I'm thinking.

Maybe if the Bucks were willing to send Miami some kind of pick this could work?

Thon was a guy I really like last year draft.

Had a brief look at Bucks fans comments after Plumlee trade and they all seem in agreement that moving Henson on would be another step forward to make from here. They don't rate him very highly there.

Good thing the fans make the decisions!

It's probably because with him their spacing is atrocious. They need some guys who can nail shots, they already have 70,000 guys who have KD-esque bodies who have limited range.
