I'm glad to see Telfair be able to stay in the league, and put up numbers. I always enjoyed watching him play, had a little flash and confidence about him like Jerryd does, but Jerryd seems to have more of a desire to win.
I think Bassy will be able to stick it in this league for awhile, but he won't be a guy you can win or go all the way with.

I thought it was in his "man purse" that looked like his girl friend's? Didn't he take it out and hide it in the plane's pillowcase?

Yes, he deserves credit. The turnaround has been pretty substantial and is not really, as far as I can tell, due to improved health. In fact, Miller (arguably their second-best player) has been hurt.

Maybe the roster isn't so bad, after all. Kudos to McHale. Maybe it was the bad coaches... which is McHale's fault for hiring them.

Either way, though, he does deserve credit for this. We'll see how long it lasts...

What does Telfair have to do with the Blazers at this point? He hasn't been mentioned in any trade rumors leading him back to Portland, has he? That was the explanation I received the last time legitimate local news regarding the Blazers was moved compared to news that had nothing to do with the team.

He was drafted by the Blazers and is infamous because of who the Blazers don't have because of him. Ex-Blazer threads are about as common as current-Blazer threads around here, I'm surprised you haven't noticed that. Probably because you're too busy getting pissed off in threads and lamenting that you're not a mod and you can't ban all us assholes!

Ex-Blazers have been of interest to members of this forum for quite a few years. If they are of no interest to you, you're free not to click on the thread. This thread was clearly marked as being about Telfair.

For the sake of those who post here, could you avoid bleeding your latest grievances into a bunch of threads, diverting them? The best way to handle disagreements over moderation is to PM forum moderators or, if you think that will be unproductive, PM an Admin (the people who's names are in blue).

I'm just saying that an OT thread about Telfair has less to do with the current team than a thread about Katie Shearer, who as a last wish wanted to attend one last Blazer game.

Which she was able to do, on Christmas, and with her family. I'm sure Telfair cared about it all. :crazy:

When we did our West predictions before the season, I put Minnesota at 9. They really have a bunch of good players. Looks like I wasn't that far off. They have a great shot at 10!
