Wow - look at the people involved in that workout! Adams, Gobert, Caldwell-Pope, CJ...
Pretty much everyone but Giannis who was actually good in that draft in just one workout. Either Neil got really lucky or he knows what he's doing.

Fact that he brought in 60 dudes for workouts this year is staggering.

If NO really does have the golden gut, then it would make sense to keep as many picks as possible. Even if you trade the players later. I hope we do.

Drafting Meyers in the lottery, having Parsons turn him down, extending Meyers, shows he's lucky

So philly takes fultz, and Boston takes Jackson at 3. Ball or fox at 2. Right?

I have no idea why you would pass on a guy like Fultz. Dude is about as clear cut a star prospect as it gets. Can't wait for this to blow up in Danny's face

Danny believe he got guards and he really likes Jackson. So why not trade the pick 2 spot down and get future draft choice with it sound a good move.

Yeah I posted on realgm a few months ago that Ainge would be the one guy with the balls to take Josh over Markelle. Has the mental makeup he looks for but I think the talent gap is too wide to pass up.

Looks as if Draftexpress just changed their mock again. Now have us taking Justin Jackson, TJ Leaf and Isaiah Hartenstein

I honestly don't know what to make of Hartenstein. Some people are trying to put him on the same path as Dirk just because he's German. Dirk lit it up against college competition. Hartemstein didn't do much against high school competition. I only saw one game but I wasn't impressed.

Trying to remember - when did Cho get fired? Notice that Cody Zeller is part of that workout and the (then) Bobcats ended up with him. Are we sure Neil arranged those players?

Neil got to portland a year before that draft referenced in the vid.

It would require him getting rid of ONE of Marcus Smart, Avery Bradley, Isaiah Thomas, Terry Rozier, and probably at a discount. That's a lot of disruption for the #1 team in the East. Meanwhile this way he's getting great value and a player who can fit in with what they're doing right away.

Fultz has shown he can be a star on a terrible team. Not sure Brad Stevens is that interested in that.

Don't bother with these mocks and who they have us picking - at positions 15-26 there is a huge state of flux and it could play out all kinds of ways, bothering to give any thought to anybodies GUESSES on those picks is IMO a waste of time

Interesting Hartenstein coming out of the Hoops Summit was scouted as more of a hustle physical defensive guy but he was considered an offensive guy before that. He also plays hard borderline too much attitude. If he developed he could be a perfect compliment to Nurkic in a Nasty 2 towers scenario.

Coworkers of mine said KDs workout for us was like one they'd never seen. Didn't miss all day. Weight lifting/Strength was a red flag.

I heard the same thing....and that Paul preferred Durant over Oden but everyone else was on the Oden train.

Mike Beasley says hi.

Not sure comparing a guy with that attitude that went #2 with a guy you take a shot at around the mid 20's is exactly apples-to-apples.

What does draft slot have to do with me disagreeing that mental issues can be fixed?

Mike Beasley hand mental issues off the court. Bolden needs to learn more about how to play basketball the right way. Big difference.

I can't see anything that the Lakers could offer that would get them to #1.

If most of his problems are mental, those can be fixed. Can't teach a big to shoot like that. Can't teach a big to be as agile as him.

I feel like we see a ton of this in every thread around the draft, but it seems to include just about everything. Broken jumper? Oh, that can be fixed. Mental issues? Those can be fixed. Range? That can be worked on. People always say an issue can be fixed if it is an issue for a prospect they like.

I wasn't talking about Bolden. I was responding to your general statement.

I don't know anything about him but if what you are saying is true I wouldn't really consider that a mental issue.

To me a mental issue is a mental block whether it be on the court (Meyers) or off the court (Beasley) that keeps a player from reaching their potential. Generally speaking, I don't think those are fixable.
