Looks like you're the Bucks, Bones. Who you looking at for them at 17?

I might go with Frank Jackson. He'd be perfect for them. They need help at PG and need a shooter and scorer to play off the ball next to Giannis. It'd be a Milwaukee type of pick as they haven't been afraid of reaching in the past.

If we can trade I'd try to trade #17 down to Utah for #24 and #30 and take Jackson at #24.

If we can make trades I'll offer POR #17 for #20 and #26 as well. Frank Jackson should fall to #26. #17 might be too high but he'd be a great pick for MIL.

#17 to BKN for #22 and #27 would be a possibility as well.

I bet we can't make trades though.

Jackson is going in the 2nd round.

Unless Bucks trade out of it they are taking an undersized Center at #17 imo. Giles or Bam most likely.

They asked Jordan Bell about playing in Portland.... he immediately mentioned that being drafted by the Lakers would be ideal. Fuck my life, FAMS! :banghead2:

Why an undersized C?

They have Maker as their CotF, and have Monroe and Hawes. Bam makes no sense at 17. Maybe Giles.

Frank Jackson is just perfect for MIL. He's a borderline 1st Round talent. Hopefully I can trade #17 down so Jackson wouldn't be as much of a reach.

If Mitchell is there he'd be perfect too.

I only threw the undersized in there because you like to use it :)

Hawes has no future on the team whether he is physically on it or not. Maker's best position will be PF imo. And of course they are looking at moving Monroe almost always. At the very least they need depth there.

I guess, but their only decent PG is Dellavedova. You don't think Jackson would be a great fit?

Kadeem Allen > Jordan Bell for me...don't shoot me Duck fans :smiley-laughing:

It's not Duck fans you need to convince. You have been selling him for a while now yet he still does not show up on many Mocks. Why do you think that is? He clearly is an excellent defender. But still can not crack the top 60?
Too old for a rookie? Can't shoot well enough for a SG? ? Does not have adequate handles for a PG? All of the above?
I think he can make the NBA as a free agent, maybe even as a late 2nd rounder.

If they can trade down then sure. He is a huge reach before pick 25-28 though imo. I expect him to go early 2nd round.

So the 76ers traded up to get Fultz. I feel like Boston is eyeing Tatum or Isaac.

Imagine if Philly drafts Ball... I'd laugh.

Age and offensive upside.

He's a reluctant shooter/scorer, but a confident ball handler with good shake+burst, who's unselfish and makes the right play on a consistent basis. I also think he's a good bet to be a solid nba range shooter who'll need to learn to take 3's at a higher volume. Right now he's a guy that prefers to either move the ball along or get into the lane and make a play, but needs to do a better job recognizing scoring opportunities and reading closeouts (short vs. long).

But I trust his insincts/IQ/coachability enough to improve in these areas needed to optimize his value offensively.

Trade all their picks for Lonzo Ball!

Edit: Realistically he will probably go #2 in a fan draft which means you don't stand a chance of being "that guy".

I'll probably lean towards Ferguson or Patton.

I think there's a good chance we keep all 3 to fill out the roster accounting for a consolidation trade e.g. We trade Davis and Aminu for a single player in return.

OK but both those guys would be rentals so don't expect much in return

Just an example with no expectations given on return. My point remains the same though no matter how it shakes down if we still have #26 when camp opens that player is likely the bottom of our depth chart unless we end up with more than one open slot after trades are made.

Ezeli is gone. That's one spot. Quarterman and Connaughton are on non guaranteed deals, making them candidates for those two way gleague contracts. We'll probably see a guy or two traded, I'm just saying they don't necessarily have to clear spots.

Dude are you so intent on disagreeing with everyone all the time that you get hung up on minor details that are irrelevant to the point? The point had nothing to do with how we get a roster spot, it had to do with where the #26 pick fits on our depth chart.

Neither of your quotes have anything to do with the point.

Don't know where else to put this.

This makes absolutely no sense to me. Why would they consider dealing KP?

IIRC he skipped the team exit interview and is not a happy camper.

Exactly....and apparently he hasn't been in touch with any Knicks official since then and vice-versa.

They've got 3 years minimum of team control during which to try to mend fences. He's easily the most valuable member of that franchise, not excluding management and ownership. Rather than dealing him, they need to figure out what is necessary to appease him.

Three years is plenty of time to fire Phil Jackson and hire someone who isn't hopelessly out of touch, professionally and interpersonally.
