So here's the question... do we try to take back Brown or do we send him to a third team.

I still like the idea of sending Brown to Houston or OKC for a shit ton of picks and young players. That has been my desire for over a month now.
Same. Who would you want from Houston? Jabari? Sengun? How would they be able to fill in salary to make a big trade like that work?

I can't help but sit over here grinning because you and I were feuding about Dame just a few weeks ago, and now look at us!

I like the way Sengun would fit with what we already have.

Abused him by treating him like a god-king for 11 years but then realizing that our population was dying off because he was demanding an increasing number of human sacrifices for his glory.
That's some coo coo for Cocoa Puffs stuff you're spewing.

Depends on what he's worth to them. I'd try REALLY hard to get Thompson from them.

Dude, I'm dead serious. This turn of events will unite us all back together again. At least the majority of us. Remember when people used to go crazy over mixum being negative? If he started posting the last couple years it wouldn't have been so negative. Half the board was pessimistic.

Looking forward to having some goddamn optimism for the first time in a long time about where we are going.

Any one else find a little fun irony in the fact that an undersized 2-guard is once again getting in the way of what Dame wants? It's starting to feel like a curse for him :D

Although it might be malarky, I saw on twitter someone say Boston might want to throw their names into the ring for Damian.

I'd rather have Brown than anything Miami would be able to offer. And honestly, Boston taking Dame would be smart for them AND be a better overall team than Miami is for Dame.

There's conversation about that in this thread, as an FYI.

(Not to say you can't talk about it here. Obviously you were talking Miami, too. Just wanted you to know :) )

Joe will probably cave to Riley. In the end it will be a lopsided deal with them. It has to be. Their pics suck

Locked on Heat whining about why don't we want Tyler Herro.

OMG even their fucking trash podcast are entitled. This shit is annoying as hell. Apparently they're doing us a favor by taking Dame.

"You're not really finding that anywhere else. You're not getting that blue chipper from anybody else for Damian Lillard. And you pointed this out yesterday, that's kind of on Portland. You should have traded Damian two years ago. If you did that maybe you would have had a better chance. That was before his huge extension that was going to pay him 60+ million dollars when he's 36 years old. You would have still had some time left on the original contract. And he would have been younger. He would have just been turning 30 or just over 30 years old. There was a lot of times a couple years ago who could have used Damian Lillard. But now he's 33, he has that huge contract that nobody is gonna want to pay when he's 35-36 years old. Other than maybe Miami and maybe Philadelphia."

These fucking guys...

I love these guys. Knuckleheads actually are talking up Tyler Herro and talking down Lillard. OK, fellas, sounds like your team really shouldn't need to make this trade.
