I have watched their podcasts the last week or two just to see what they're thinking. David Ramil is annoying AF. The other guy seems OK.I love these guys. Knuckleheads actually are talking up Tyler Herro and talking down Lillard. OK, fellas, sounds like your team really shouldn't need to make this trade.
Okay, i mean Jimmy just lead group of undrafted players to the NBA finals....can't think of many others who could accomplish that. Yes, Spoelstra is great, but I definitely became a Jimmy fan this year. Of that list, I would say that Lillard and Harden are the two questionable in terms of championship caliber players on both ends. They say the market is lower for star players now and then proceed to talk about how much the Jazz got for "Rudy Gorbay."
Then they bring up how little it took to acquire Jimmy Butler without acknowledging kind of important things like Butler isn't a Lillard/Durant/Harden/George level player or that Butler had very quickly worn out his welcome in Minny and Philly and his play was declining before he found renewal with Spo in Miami. For Pete's sake, the year before going to the Heat he averaged 18.7 ppg, had an effective FGP under 50 and was coming off the two worst years of his rotational playing career in DWS.

Locked on Heat whining about why don't we want Tyler Herro.
They just mirror that shitty fanbase. They think they are doing us a favor by taking on old man Lillard and his massive contract.Every team has one of these, but theirs is one of the most annoyingly homerific....unwatchable. By contrast, the guy who does the Pelicans podcast, (Jake Madison?) is one of the best. Reasonable, easy to listen to and quite professional.
Since this franchise fucked up and didn’t trade Dame two years ago, getting multiple firsts and a couple of young guys with promise is most likely the returnThey just mirror that shitty fanbase. They think they are doing us a favor by taking on old man Lillard and his massive contract.
Let him know I did. They looked goodJaquez Jr and Jovic had nice stat lines last night, Anyone watch?
Agreed 100%. The Pelicans dude is quality.Every team has one of these, but theirs is one of the most annoyingly homerific....unwatchable. By contrast, the guy who does the Pelicans podcast, (Jake Madison?) is one of the best. Reasonable, easy to listen to and quite professional.
You mean Joe? If Neil came back I probably would quit the team for a while lol.No is holding firm to a couple of things. Good for him
I’m just guessing, of course
Feels like we are trying to squeeze Brooklyn a bit.Just a couple of draft picks solves that
Just a guess

As we should; Simmons is kind of a toxic asset.Feels like we are trying to squeeze Brooklyn a bit.
The meta point I'm most interested in is "who's doing the calling trying to make this work? Is it Cronin? Riley? Goodwin?" I don't imagine Cronin's got a deep bench of confidantes and dudes willing to play a little ball. Riley is ruthless. Agents should be trying to support this, but he also doesn't want Dame's new team to be gutted. And it's not like he's working the background to hook up some of his other clients...GP2 is his only other active one.Maybe the Spurs in on this too?
(this didn't post earlier and is probably aged horribly...
I’m sure it’s been said somewhere, but the 3 or 4 team potential is stacking up nicely if everyone goes down that route.
Dame to BOS
Jaylen to anywhere with young guys and picks (OKC, UTH, SAS, ORL, DET?)
POR gets young defensive minded bigs and firsts. And maybe a bad contract (Simmons?) if there are more younguns and firsts in the trade.
no idea about Brown’s market, but I have to believe it’s higher than Herro.

That would be an awesome trade.Yes. You got it.
Jaylen Brown to Houston where he wants to go.
Two out of Amen Thompson, Tari Eason and Jabari Smith come here in addition to 1st round picks.
Too bad Joe will get some late 1st round prospects instead.
