You would think so but with Cronin...who knows. If Ant + Picks for OG was available it would have already been done. Come on now....

Ant fits Cronin's move to go young imo. If he could flip Ant for a young front court defender he probably wood do so.You would think so but with Cronin...who knows.
It depends what picks - if your talking two protected first and this was back before Dames trade request then sure do it. If its multiple years of unprotected picks then no I would've declined it.
Supposedly we offered #7 last year for OG and Toronto declined.
OG had real value but much more if we are immediately trying to win with Dame. Being on an expiring contract now certainly lowers his value. Everything I've heard is that Masai asks for the moon.
Multiple people have confirmed this. Yes, he's on an expiring this year, but what makes anyone think Masai's valuation of OG has come down significantly?

Folks think he's infallible but he lost Lowry and now Van Fleet for nothing.
The need to extend Siakam and him and the 2nd apron reality, imho.
Toronto will have to face these issues sooner or later. If it is forcing a trade of Siakam for a lesser value or OG is yet to be determined. With Siakam torpedoing allegedly a Portland trade - maybe they are more likely to trade OG.

and Rudy Gay; and Kawhi; and Marc Gasol
Technically 2 since his last tear has a team option.Duncan Robinson is a 3pt specalist who only shot 33% from 3 last year and is on the books for 3 more years at 20 million per year?
Fuck Duncan Robinson.
I'm seeing it as a player option, which he'll for sure opt into.Technically 2 since his last tear has a team option.
But still, he sucks.
I stand corrected. You are right.I'm seeing it as a player option, which he'll for sure opt into.
If that's the "prize", then Olshey should be fired immediately.Part of me wonders if we're just waiting until 8/1 so that Jaquez can be traded.
We should rehire him so we can fire him again. If that's the "prize", then Olshey should be fired immediately.
Jaylen Brown shot 16% from deep in the ECF.Duncan Robinson is a 3pt specalist who only shot 33% from 3 last year and is on the books for 3 more years at 20 million per year?

Why? That's you giving into what the M'eat and the media want.As far as I can tell, it's unlikely that we will get the kind of haul that NOP got for Davis, or that Brooklyn got for Durant.
I think our absolute best case scenario is
Filler from third team (maybe Simmons)
Jovic
Jaquez
2024 pick (OKC takes 2026)
2028 pick
2030 pick
Future pick from third team
Future pick from Caleb Martin (maybe 4th team)
So we get two young guys and five picks. I think that's the best we can hope for if Miami pushes in all their chips.
When did they get the 2026 pick unprotected?I don't think OKC would cooperate with the 2025 fantasy when they have the unprotected 2026 Miami pick. I also don't believe Miami would expose that many of their first's. Now, you can say, well then fuck Miami, but I don't think that gets Portland anywhere
and if Herro is bringing back a future first I'd rather it was a 2027-2030 from their collection and it was going to Portland rather than back to Miami
I don't understand why finding a first-round pick for Herro would be a Portland problem. It seems like a Miami issue for me.

Without Martin I want unprotected swaps. Assuming those are good picks and unprotected too - thats a good haul and I'd do the deal.
I suspect Miami is trying to get Dame for less. I think if this was available Joe would've done it. The 3rd team aspect is a wild card. Also Jaquez can't be traded until the 30th. I'd have much preferred if they took Leonard Miller or a bunch of guys with that pick over Jaquez though.
