I'm one of those people who don't get excited until it's real. At this point it's not real.
 
I hope its not T2. I know any location would be better than nothing! But in my mind, its still location, location, location!
That drive to T2 would be terrible.
The Snchitzer site is a much better location or near freeway on/off ramp.

Schnitzer isn't in the running from what i am seeing.
 
I'm hearing it will be an infill solution. Unused lots and backyards around town will have seating for 10-50 people. With fiber connections and VR it will be the same experience as being at a old-fashioned single site ballpark, but much much cheaper. The actual games will be played in an old warehouse in Woodburn.

Hey I love the idea of keeping the park out of the Ind area or even Downtown.
Lents Park perfect Location, the park should be right in the middle of residential neighborhood!
 
So the A's are paying for the stadium themselves? I thought the problem was they couldn't get the city to pay for it?

No they plan to ask the city to pay for a lot of it. They don’t even control the land they just released the renderings for. This is all just for publicity to create excitement.

PDP on the other hand plan to announce tmr they actually control the land for the stadium site.
