Sure they can, but I think it's going to be a tight race all year between those two and the Nats. For ATL/PHI, I think it's going to come down to pitching for both.
Braves #1 starter is still rehabbing his elbow, and they've presently got rookies (albeit highly-touted ones) at #2 and #3 in their rotation. If the vets pitch the way they have over their careers, they're going to have to score 5+ rpg to win, and that's not something you can rely on, even with Acuna, Freeman, Donaldson, et al.
The Phillies have a lot of firepower, no doubt, but will they gel? Which Harper will they get: the MVP candidate from 2015/2017, or the inconsistent, disappointing version from 2016/2018? Same thing can be asked about McCutcheon; he's several years removed from his MVP caliber seasons. If they hit the high end of expectations, sure, they'll win the division easily. But I don't think it's a slam dunk that their offense will be as impressive as people are projecting, and I think they'll be a lot more dependent on Nola/Arrieta than on their hitting.
