I used to stay with them in LA. They were great. But I think I've found a solution. I found an affordable studio at Vue Apartments. And I can rent furniture very inexpensively. Everything will cost me about $1400 a month which is not bad. It's in the Murrieta area. Is that a good area?

Never heard of a Murrieta area in Portland although they are trying to make areas all hip now

You are right by PSU. Dunno, not my vibe personally. Its a little further than i would prefer to live. Its cool if you are an academic type, but again i wpuld like to live closer to burbside or pioneer courthouse square.

Gotcha. So I just got my Season Ticket. If you guys ever need to find me, I'm in sec 103, row J, seat 17. Looking forward to our Championship Season. I should write a book about it.

Writing books and being in Portland goes well together. Whenever i'm in town i raid Powells for vintage trailblazers books

Yes sir. Been here 12 years now. Did the normal routine of looking on RMLS and other websites, then a friend of mine recommended looking on Craigslist. I didn't want to use a real estate agent and was told people that felt the same would list there houses there. Found it and made the move.

Damn here i thought you were NEP born and bred when you only moved there 12 years ago after growing up in Lake Oswego

Watch your mouth! Only time I’ve left the NEP was while serving my county and my first apartment when I returned was about 200 yards south of Burnside. Hurt my heart every night as I laid down to sleep, knowing I was in SE Portland.
 
Well, I officially have an apartment in Portland starting October 10th. Near Portland State. Ground floor. I will miss our first home preseason game (Oct 7th vs Utah) because I'm running a Catan tournament in NYC but I will be at our second home game on October 10th. I'm so excited. Watch- now I'll get a movie, TV show, Broadway play or something and will end up having to miss the season.

Murrieta sounds like a name a real estate agency made up to make it sound fancy. I'd avoid referring to your neighborhood by that name. Maybe it's a mistake? Your new neighborhood is the "The Park Blocks" or "University District", but I'd probably refer to it as: "Downtown by Portland State". You will be living pretty close to Evan Turner and me! Also you'll be living just a few blocks from PSU's brand new basketball arena as well. Btw, the Park Avenue Cafe is a good spot for a breakfast bagel.
