Why would he be in portland???
Tipping is a pretty American concept. Most places in the world don't require tips. Its more of a leave the change if you feel like it.
Well thats definitely NOT what she said...It feels good to not have to worry about tips for anything
I want a deal with the gas company to use their gas..like Dick Cheney hadWe have these things called shoe companies. Some players actually make deals with them to wear their.... shoes.
Shocking, I know.
DAMN YOU BRO!Well thats definitely NOT what she said...

Why did you pass? Need to work?JUST DROVE JONAS VALENCIUNAS. He invited me to hang with him, Joakim Noah, and Chandler Parsons. I passed but that was pretty cool.

I do need to work and I think I would’ve been too nervous. NBA players are a big deal to me.Why did you pass? Need to work?
Thats so cool King! What a great experience for you.
we rarely tip in NZ. minimum wage isnt bad here so there is no sense of overwhelming exploitation to try counteract.
some restaurants, if you are paying by card, will have a 'tip - yes/no' option on the machine - but 80% of the time the person cashing you up just presses no before even handing you the terminal.
i dont think id ever tip an uber driver either. I did give a driver a $50 tip in cash on NYE for like an $8 fare, but hey, i was drunk and its NYE....
i would find it hard not to tip cute a cute waitress in the USA tho.....

If we paid people a living wage there would be no need for tips.

. Very surprising also the very high tips. In Europe even 10% is considered very good and it's mostly like El Presidente mentioned "keep the change" and it's not that waiters are rich men over here. It is what it is though. I also didn't get at all why the tax is not included in the price displayed on the menu
Oh stop, cheapscape.
Going out to drive Uber tonight. I wonder if I’ll drive a Thunder. I’ll let you know.
Portland has been known to have a few "Risque" type venues.Hopefully picking them up from a bar at 2am.

Tough for most of us to comment on this as Oregon is one of the few states that doesn't have sales tax, so that's not an issue that many of us have to deal with. That said...I also didn't get at all why the tax is not included in the price displayed on the menu![]()

I would say that there are many US chain restaurants that have locations in many different states, so the tax percentage differs for each one. When they're creating menus that are intended to be uniform nationwide, to try to factor in tax for all those different states would be impossible. Now for restaurants that don't have multiple locations, that's obviously not a concern, but I think the former outnumber the latter.
Just drove Robin Lopez
