Not sure of a scenario where we draft a player for ourselves in the lotterySo essentially we’re either gonna end up with Jerami Grant or a top 7 pick.
Not sure of a scenario where a top-3 pick is dealt for Jeremy Grant and the practice facility isn't overrun by a torch/pitchfork-wielding mob.Not sure of a scenario where we draft a player for ourselves in the lottery

Maybe a number of diehard fans here would be mad. But the average season ticket holder would've heard more of Grant than a rookie so I don't think there would be much PR issues. Especially so if Dame comes out with strong support of Grant.
what is the worst pick we can get
well get that one, you heard it here first
We have a one 10th of one percent chance of getting the number 10 pick. That is the worst pick we could get.what is the worst pick we can get

I have a busy evening and will probably end up just watching on my phone. What time should I be checking in?
We are getting the 7th pick. You can play that simulator hundreds of times and #7 comes up the most and continues to come up. The more you play the more it becomes obvious 7th pick is in the cards. We have a one 10th of one percent chance of getting the number 10 pick. That is the worst pick we could get.
I might be in the minority but the one player I do not want is Chet fron Zaga --- someone name the last Zag picked in the lotto that turned out to be a good NBA player ......

I have no idea who is available? So who is your best guess, are the players that are available for the number 1 pick? (That the Blazers actually want in return.)

There is only a couple players I would want in the Top 10 that MIGHT be players that might be instant to maybe 1 yr to grow into a minor star or better type player --
Banchero , Jabari and maybe the young man from Iowa --Murray
If the the Blazers feel like they are not rdy or cannot get them then you trade down OR out and get a vet and a future 1st or something
I am crossing all my fingers and toes for the Blazers and hope they get a top 4 pick but the way this season has gone expecting the worse scenario.
If it ain't Duke or Kentucky you won't find many.I will never ever understand this logic.
but I’ll play. Name the last #1 recruit the Zags had before Chet.

Last 20 years there have been 15 colleges and 3 countries that have produced #1 picks.
Are the Blazers still paying Anderson Varajao??
We aren’t getting Grant without the pickAssuming we get Grant with assets other than our lottery pick, I don’t get why we HAVE to trade our pick. Think about it, once we resign Simons and Nurk we are pretty solid
Dame/Hart/Little/Grant/Nurk/Lotto/Simons/
Winslow/Watford/Vet Center plus a few free agent signings. That is a very solid team. Our lottery pick doesn’t need to be a starter right away, if it can contribute off the bench as a spark plug that would boost our overall depth tremendously. We can talk about getting another established player when we get closer to the deadline
