Ah, we're gonna miss you then. We'll be mostly on Maui, with a couple days on Oahu (need to do a Pearl Harbor visit). Assuming we're able to go at all, that is.
hope it works out. i know they have closed Pearl Harbor to civilians including the memorial at this time. Too bad not here as am always looking for an excuse to go fishing.

All players from all sports in quarantine will have a real tough time staying in shape. Could be a real shit show for a lot of players and teams when sports comes back.

Though I don't disagree, it boggles my mind. The min salary still provides enough money for any pro athlete to build a gym/court on their property. If they don't have the ability to stay in shape at their home, then that's on them.

I know IF I was a pro athlete, I would have a kick ass gym and pool and anything I need ot make sure my body stays in top shape. Then all that's left is discipline and dedication.

NBA

Knicks owner James Dolan, MSG still hasn’t committed to paying workers amid coronavirus crisis

The union had been negotiating with MSG as recently as Friday but MSG has only pledged to continue making healthcare contributions to workers who are eligible for the company’s plan, a source said. MSG has also vowed to pay workers until March 29, and only certain workers until April 5.

After that, there’s no commitment from MSG for at least the concessions and cleaning staff, according to multiple sources.

“It’s very frustrating, a lot of folks are scared about how they are going to pay their bills, how they’re going to pay their families,” Gerard Cerda, a food vendor at MSG for 26 years, told the News. “People are very, very concerned.”

Players?

Good to see NBA gets to test their whole organizations, yet there isn't enough tests for the public.

There are enough tests.

However, you can thank Democrats and their love for bureaucracy, which has prevented private companies from creating tests for weeks, at minimum.

You can further thank Republicans for refusing China’s offers and saying, “we’ll create our own tests.” (Which is standard practice in the US). Now there’s a whole lot going on and this could be simply Chinese propaganda machine.

Not to mention whatever the deal with the WHO tests.

So if someone has an assload of money, it ain’t that hard to get tested or find tests.

FWIW, it’s free to get tested in Thailand for foreigners.

So i took a break from working in the garage. Decided to sit on the couch for a bit and flip on the tube. They were actually televising a golf tournament from two years ago. Yes GOLF on reruns.

I guess TV just isn't gonna be a good excuse to quit working around the house.
