It's time.
I have been viewing the forum for a while now, and thought this was a great thread to reintroduce myself into. Before my illness, I was a negative poster, and I understand how that can rub people the wrong way. However, as a negative poster, I never got annoyed with positive posters because I, like them, wanted the team to succeed. However, I never really understood why they had such a hard time being honest about the team. When I got sick, and part of my brain ended up in a lab waste disposal, I became a very different kind of negative poster. Downright mean. I actually equate that to the way Kingspeed is as well with his overly pollyanna type attitude. He is so "I told you so" I hated when he posted. He would throw 1000 ridiculous predictions against the wall, and when 1 of them would be correct he was the first to call out all those who dared disagree with him and his far superior basketball knowledge (learn the game, then post). When I said I was leaving because of a brain tumor, he said good riddance. Rude, but that's who he is, I guess? I think, like many of the positive posters have said in this thread, that we can all co-exist pretty easily. The arguing has to stop. Some posters just need to accept that I don't think American born white centers and guys that went to Syracuse are good picks in the lottery, and in turn, I need to understand that many people find that irrational and think I'm insane for thinking that with no statistical basis. This isn't about me, I was just using those as examples. I wish Erik well, and hope he comes back slightly more rational than when he left. I will not be posting with any type of regularity, but when I do, it will be vastly different from before because I am vastly different from before.
