Bro, to max out another player that means Wes is gone. It means Rolo is gone. It means most of the team is gone.

I believe they could do a sign and trade and still obtain the rights to Wesley and Robin.

I'll pass, I like the athletic team Olshey is building instead of slow players who are beat up and injured.
I wasnt promoting it, just mentioning how i think that would make it possible

A good majority of Cleveland fans would hate him more than Osama if he left again. Could you imagine Dan Gilvert's second traitor letter?

I suppose its right about that time of year where we like to say, "I know it will never happen but LBJ on this team sure would make a lot sense for both parties and we really should be attractive to him if he looked at it."

There's (Christ Traeger voice) literally no way LBJ leaves Cleveland now. Although Olshey managed to land a top-five NBA player in Chris Paul, he's not going to land the best player in the league.

But we do need a multi-talented player, because we've sure stocked up on role players.

lebron made a deal with wade and bosh to make it work. why cant our guys do the same? i dont think for a second we get lebron, i just think it's going to be great when everyone who is in sheer panic atm is blown away by our OP team

Is he worth max? Literally the only chance you get him. They match up to at least 12 MIL a year imo. I would rather go after Demarre Carroll who is unrestricted and can be had for 11 MIL a year imo.
I'd go full max for Middleton. Which would be what? 4/62? Ain't that big after the cap jump and he is really young.

I just put everyone who suggested trading for Hibbert on ignore. And I put everyone who suggested trading Vonleh for Hibbert on DOUBLE ignore. j/k - no new additions to my list. But seriously, that's deep "stupid" territory. I wouldn't even trade Kaman for Hibbert - Kaman is more valuable because he'll increase the rate at which Meyers and Vonleh become better players.
We need to use our cap space on a SF before thinking about adding anymore front court players.

The plus size to obtaining Hibbert on the cheap (say kaman) is that If it doesn't work out, he is expiring and still a shot blocker. You can trade that and get value back of some kind.

Also Hibbert is an expiring. It's not like we have a 15 mil player for the next 3 years. If he becomes beast, then pay him. If he is meh, then we have another 15 mil to toss at a free agent

Aldridge/Plumlee/Lopez/Meyers/Vonleh works for me.

I think we just don't need Jordan or Hibbert (Unless it is to appease LaMarcus of course.)

I think we should put our cap space eggs in a different basket.

I can't wait to see what Olshey has in mind, because he definitely has something in the works.

I suspect it will be something none of us are thinking. There is a reason why he's keeping the cards close to his chest. I suspect he's got big things in the works. At least things he wants to make sure other general managers aren't thinking of or they would probably take it away from him.

You think he could arrange a S&T for Durant?
