That picture doesn't do Joe or Jody any favors.

Were you planning on kissing either of them?

Not sure how pointing out how the other people in the pictures looked like they were engaged in conversation or at least looked like they weren't pissed or a confused country bumpkin has anything to do with kissing either. Not everything has to do with sex.

Oh I thought you were trying to say they looked ugly

Nope. It's like they purposely picked pictures where Jody and Joe looked disinterested, and everyone else looked like they were super excited.

I mean, it’s The Oregonian. I assume any choice their editorial staff makes is designed to make Portland look bad.

That's my gut feeling too. And any chance to subtly make Jody and Joe look bad (or the Blazers in general) they'd take it.

Tho Kolde looked the most human he's ever looked.

Canzano article out saying under the sale agreement the Allen foundation retains 20% stake in the Blazers, so uncle Bert and Jody ain’t goin’ nowhere

I can't imagine Dundon will let Kolde have input.

I'm fine with the 20%, reduces the cash that new owners had to come up with. I'm guess that might be the reason more than Jody/Allen foundation wanting to keep a stake.

I doubt very much that Kolde had much input in the past. (on Basketball decisions) He may have wanted Joe and Chauncey to keep him informed, but that does not mean he was influencing the draft, trades, or what was happening on the court

Also gives them slightly deeper pockets

Rose Garden Report:

«
Longtime local columnist John Canzano reported on Friday morning that the purchase agreement between the estate and Dundon's group includes the estate retaining a 20 percent stake in the Blazers, which would be worth around $850 million.

A spokesperson for the Allen estate said on Friday that the report is "unequivocally false," and that once the sale closes, the Blazers will be owned entirely by Dundon's group, with the estate having no remaining stake in the team. »

Clownzano at it again.

Damn. Canzano wasn’t even close to being right. But maybe he will be? We shall see

To my knowledge Clownzano isn't a forum member so hopefully this isn't attacking anyone but fuck that guy. Such a worthless element in Oregon sports media for over two decades.
