Wow. James McCadoo back to NC for junior year. Dude's stock has dropped so much.

That sounds horrible
Would you care to elaborate?
I will. For one, I would think that a #11 from last year's draft who has shown the ability to play in this league is probably worth more than the #13 in a weaker draft. If we were trading Leonard to Dallas, I'd hope we'd get more than just their pick.
2nd, Steven Adams at 11, 12, or 13 is a huge reach. There are probably 8 bigs that will be picked ahead of him.
3rd, there's a decent chance that one of the top 6 wings will be available at our pick. McCollum is a consolation prize.
Basically, your "draft day wishes" sound like shooting for mediocrity. If you're going to wish, wish big man!
Marcus Smart staying in school according to Adrian woj.
Wow. Burke might move up to top 5 now.Marcus Smart staying in school according to Adrian woj.

That would be a huge mistake for some team.

Steven Adams was a surprise to put his name into this draft and that's why you see him so low on mock drafts right now. He was more highly touted coming into college than Meyers was but was brought along slowly by Jamie Dickson but had a solid ending to his year. He's massive with strength that Meyers will take years to gain if he very does and has the athleticism and hands (which are massive) to be much better on the boards. Also showed to be a better shotblocker as well.
That's what we need out a future starting center. So with him in the mix, Meyers becomes unnecessary and you might as well cash in on his value while you can. With Damian being much like westbrook in that he'll be pushing 38 mpg every year, we need a guy behind that is capable of sliding over. C.J. has the ability to do that while also being another creative scorer on the perimeter which this team sorely needs off the bench.
As long as it knocks a good prospect down to us, i'm ok with it.

Who cares who was more hyped coming out of high school. High school rankings mean absolutely nothing when it comes the NBA and even college for that matter.
Also, I'm willing to bet that Leonard's strength numbers at the combine will be better than Adams numbers.
May have to extend and pick Dieng of Louisville, simply for his defense, in the lottery. He might already be 25 or so, but who cares.
NOVoodoo or Zagger, either one of you really know anything about Norvel Pelle? I'm not one to stay up with High School rankings, I can barely keep up with College ball now but i'v seen a few Youtube videos of him and read an article about him. Wondering if either of you could shed some light on this guy, he seems fairly intriguing as a late first or second round pick. No college and questionable social/academic habits seem to have this guys draft stock in the "don't draft" category.
I'm with you on Dieng. Out of all the Louisville players, he's the only one I think will be worth a damn on the next level, and he's got a skillset that will translate to the NBA regardless of the "weaknesses" on the scouting reports.
Like I was saying with Curry, sometimes you just have to overlook the "weakness" part of a scouting report, if you've seen a player enough, know what role he can fill, and know how well he can fill it. If ya'll don't wind up with Dieng or a big guy with the #10-12 pick, Trevor Mbakwe would be a good pick in the second. He ain't exactly Gorgui Dieng defensively, but he rivals him defensively in post-up situations, and he'd be a hell of an improvement off the bench defensively over guys like Claver and Freeland.
Yeah Dieng seems like he'll be a good pick up for whoever takes on him. Athletic 6'11 and seems advanced as far as technique and IQ on defense. Plus hes got a little jump shot. Might have a limited ceiling at 23 years old but seems like hes got a really good shot at being at least a good role player. The way the league is going (smaller bigs) he could turn out to be a starting C. If he goes late-ish in the first I could see him getting minutes right away on a decent team.
He's got incredible length, so despite being an inch shy of 7', he'll probably have a standing reach 2" or 3" inches taller then Meyers.
I don't think NO will go after a raw prospect. He seems determined to get an established player instead.
Who is the most NBA ready player from this draft? I think Oladipo is right up there with McCollum.
Meyers Leonard? make it happen, Neil
How upset would you be if Olshey went and picked up a late first round pick to get Withey as a complement to Leonard?

Probably not overly. My issue, which has been twisted by many here several times has always been IN THE LOTTERY. I'd rather them not do that though
