No one celebrating our guy Dame winning something for the first time. Very cool to watch last night.

Right now It's just better for me to see them playing well. Dame deserves this. If they stay healthy they will be a contender. Happy for Dame. In his interview after this game he mentioned how happy he was to win the cup for the teammates that can use that money. It's a nice payday for the guys on league minimums.

Still hasn’t won anything other than a game that doesn’t count
Yeah, a radio guy last night was saying, "Dame has won a championship; Giannis has won multiple championships; Doc Rivers has won championships with two different teams--these are all factual statements, whether you like it or not."

It was really annoying...

Robert Horry won 7 NBA titles - so obviously he's much better than Stockton, CP3, Nash, Reggie, Carter, Wilkins, Barkley, Malone

Very bizarre. With award shows, they usually take your trophy back from you when you get offstage and then they mail you one in a few weeks later. But this is wild.

You always see the actors with them at the after parties, and here about them losing them. I knew they took them to engrave them, but I thought they got them back immediately. Interesting.

How about to "fix" this problem of too many threes being shot we make shooting a three a gamble. If you make it, it's still three points but if you miss it your team loses a point.

I'd move the line a foot back and have it be the same distance all around (so no corner 3s).

Also in the final 30 seconds have a foul outside the 3pt line against the leading team be 3 free throws - its stupid how teams intentionally foul at the end to prevent a 3pt attempt.

I'm getting very sick of all the instant replay and stoppages. I also just prefer if there were bad calls and we just let them go. It sucks how much reviews slow the game and how we have to hear a stupid ref explanation. They need to speed up the game. If there is a possible flagrant just have the NBA replay center do the review while play continues and they eventually signal the results - next dead ball the player is ejected or team gets free throws - etc.

Yeah there will be more missed calls - that didn't make the NBA less enjoyable in the 90s though.

Kramer won a Tony and he got to keep for a while anyway.

Our guy Dame never won anything. That's Milwaukee's guy Dame winning something.

I would put his gold medal ahead of this. I put it on par with the Ducks winning the Players Era Festival this year in Las Vegas. Nice pay day...nothing else.

Funny how the Lakers winning showed it was stupid, and now Dame winning people are acting like this matters.

Are you talking specifically about Blazer fans?

I was always a big proponent of the cup and playin. I think eventually vast majority of fans will like both but it takes 5-10 years for that to completely change.

Heard all the detractors of the playin year 1 now I don't hear any. So part of this cup might just be more support in year 2.

If the Blazers make it out of the group stage eventually I think you'll see tons of excitement here, especially as we keep suffering through each of these tanking seasons with no end in sight.

Their prices are already cheaper to begin with!

It barely registers in my mind that he won anything other than a scrimmage...

I mean, good for him, and good for the Bucks. I'm glad they got a bonus.

But it means absolutely nothing to me.

They're getting so little from Middleton that it might actually work. If you had to design the ideal basketball player to fit with a DameCJ duo it just might be Giannis.

Somewhere Neil Olshey will be dancing if that deal happens.

Not seeing the logic in that one
I can certainly see Milwaukee willing to throw their 2031 pick and Middleton contract out there to get whatever the best player is they can to win the title this year.

You'd think there would be initial targets for someone better than CJ. But still that move is better than standing pat with the injured Middleton.
