Only a few older than Moda. Madison square garden included. Still not good.. you know owners use every excuse to leave and this is their favorite one

Half the arenas were built in the 90's. A couple of years makes little difference. What does though is attendance. So we might not want to tank until then.

Herro has made a leap this year...I know we likely wouldn't have kept him if we do the Miami deal but just throwing it out there

Sure, if you ignore all the ones that are older.
Might be that were the oldest without a major renovation or something, I remember something about us being one of the oldest before but I can't remember exactly what the comment was.

Renovation funds are capped at whatever the city gets from revenue for tickets/parking in the prior year - so certainly its not like the Philly agreement where the city is paying 100's of million for an arena.

It always seemed super odd how the Blazers sold the Moda to the city for $1... might be major concerns of expensive maintenance and renovations needed, or they want to use that as an argument that the team doesn't have an arena and can relocate, or some other type of bargaining position for who knows what.

Government-funded portion: Judging by these posts, Portland taxpayers are eager to pony up hundreds of millions of dollars from more income and sales taxes.

Team-funded portion: And Blazer fans are eager to raise ticket prices to the (new expensive) roof.

Not sure how many years he has left - but LeBron has a chance to make some of his career marks virtually unbreakable

Why not post stats of Remix that are heads and shoulders above bronny? He sucks and I will never be a fan

Solution: build a Casino next door.
