This could be a positive effect of having so many ways to watch the games but I think maybe on Christmas day it was because they were all on the same channel? The Lakers might have benefitted from being on the prime time spot also?

Mike Brown fired.

Hopefully there’s a fire sale we can take advantage of.

Doubt it.

Sitting on his hands is Cronin’s fave past-time

I stumbled across Ron Artest’s instagram. I was always a huge fan of his especially before joining the Lakers. He was kind of the Mike Tyson of the NBA

nice to see he’s kept his nose clean since retiring. Looks like a good family man and very charitable.

12 straight hours of games surely has nothing to do with "most watched"... That's a disingenuous way of avoiding the actual ratings.
Or simply more people watched than the last couple seasons?

Not sure if Mike Brown is a good coach or not (without LBJ) ......but talk about a small starting lineup.
6'3", 6'3" 6'6", 6'8", 6'10".

Getting decent numbers across a lot of games back-to-back isn't the same as having great ratings for any one game. They stacked the deck to get their viewership.

In looking at his resume, Id be happy with him as a 'retread' coach.

It seems to me that every time he has gotten fired, it was after his team 'overachieved' relative to the talent level & then the GM made roster moves that made the team worse.

It's kind of bizarre that De'Aaron Fox is supposedly the top clutch player in the league, and also the Kings rank pretty well with positive point differential and FG differential, but they seem to be losing a lot of close games:

Sound to me more likely a roster/player issue. If the Lakers were smart/not so cheap, they'd quickly fire JJ Redick and (re-)hire Brown. LeBron has had much more success when coached by Brown than Redick.

7 ft 4 and 1.1 block per game? that aint great. SGA has 1.1 bpg too.

Naji Marshall throws punch at Jusuf Nurkic for shoving him in the face

Nurkic, Marshall, PJ Washington ejected from game.

You can (maybe) scratch Naji Marshall from tomorrow's game in Portland?

I hate the Mavs. I wish he punched Luka instead of slapping whoever that guy is.

There's a LOT more to defending than blocks.

He's a decent defender (average). He makes a big impact on the offensive side of the ball

Brother think what you want to think. The league doesn’t give a shit about supposed less viewership for 1 reason and 1 reason only…… You see how much they are receiving on the new contract that starts next season FAMS!?!? Cut that check…….. I PROMISE you the next one will also be that much of an increase. SOMEBODY is watching.

Nurkic struck first. He should have never went back. He escalated the situation.
