Did you see the end of the Spurs game? Quinn Snyder used their last timeout with 2.4 seconds in the game to challenge a foul that would lead to a 2-shot trip to the charity stripe.

I don't understand that. If you lose the challenge, you're cooked. Even if Wemby makes both free throws, you can advance the ball with 2.4 seconds to get off a decent 3-point attempt.

Amen cost his team the game in New York with a turnover, and cost his team the game with a turnover in Brooklyn. He's not less than he was before that.

why are you focusing on his turnovers? In that NY game he had a triple-double of 25-11-11. He's not the first player to commit a turnover at a critical time. And he sure isn't the first 2nd year player with a turnover down the stretch. Scoot's had his share of turnovers too
 
Rob Pelinka as a previous players agent seems to play to his strengths.

My vision of Cronin, is he a guys that sets in a cubical all day trucking numbers and sucking up to the Vulcans.

four of those guys came from trading Dame; and one of those guys has played in 23 games and missed 110. And he doesn't have another Dame on the roster to trade. The other two guys came from blatant tanking, which he gave up on at least 1 year too early
 
Clippers were up 5 on Indy with 3:30 left and allowed a 14-0 run.

That used to be what I'd expect from this Blazers team. Not any more.

The Thunder and Spurs are powerhouses the next decade.

Both of them have a lot of unprotected picks from other teams so certainly possible they add a stud in the draft too.

Could be similar to 80s Lakers getting Magic #1 with Kareem then Worthy #1 three years later.
